scotty Posted 18 November, 2011 Posted 18 November, 2011 16 years and one month, to go to college in the midlands for three years. Came back home for about two months afterwards to the only actual employment I've ever suffered, then moved back to another part of the midlands for a further three years.
The Majestic Channon Posted 18 November, 2011 Posted 18 November, 2011 17 ,straight into a bedsit in bournemouth, happy happy days
Jillyanne Posted 18 November, 2011 Posted 18 November, 2011 22 but went back to live with mum at 30 as I royally f*cked up a relationship then left again 6 months later.
doddisalegend Posted 18 November, 2011 Posted 18 November, 2011 I was a late starter it seems didn't leave until I was 22. Finished higher education at 20 (but went local and commuted from my parents house) then couldn't afford to leave home until I found a lady to share with. Went back to live with my parents for three months at 27 and took a wife and baby with me while we were between houses. Still only live a 10 minute drive away from my parents and see them quite a bit. Take the family around to my parents for one of my mums roasts (still the best roast dinner I've ever had) on a sunday about once a month.

Saint in Paradise Posted 19 November, 2011 Posted 19 November, 2011 Judging by posts made in several different threads by some I am really amazed that they claim that they attended Universities. The standard appears to have really dropped over the past 20 or so years.
skintsaint Posted 19 November, 2011 Posted 19 November, 2011 17.....have mates who stayed at home still late 20s...not sure how they could live at home at that age.
buctootim Posted 19 November, 2011 Posted 19 November, 2011 hmmm, yet mikey must finish his degree? Yep, I left home and school at 16 thinking I could do just fine without a degree. Proved not to be the case and eventually went to uni at 24.
Gingeletiss Posted 19 November, 2011 Posted 19 November, 2011 15 and a half...joined the Army (junior leaders), went to Taunton.

Kingsbridge Saint Posted 20 November, 2011 Posted 20 November, 2011 19 - to Uni after repeating Upper 6th. These days there's no money anywhere and its harder to break out. So I reckon anywhere between 18 and 22 would be average now.

Lived the dream for a year before having to move out and got a flat with my then missus. Moved back for 4 weeks when I was between places. Hated nearly every second (apart from having my washing done for me) and got out as quickly as I could.
