They're only 3 inches long. Mind you, my mother-in-law had a real Dachshund which scared the bejeesus out of me. Horrible little bastard.

Not strictly speaking a whippet, but similar. 2 year old Saluki cross, she'd give most whippets a run for their money. She is surveying the carnage she just wreaked on what passes for my garden.

my mate had a whippet that would eat anything. he nicked the sunday roast beef once which was funny untill he had a poo.we then realised the string had still been on the beef,which was now hanging out of his butt with nuggets of poo stuck to it

nearly wet myself watching my mate hold the dog & pull the rest of the string out while retching for England
