What apps do I need on my iPad

I've just bought an iPad in the States today and whilst I've put some apps on I was wondering if anyone could recommend some that I should be downloading? What is really worth it (and perhaps what should be avoided)

Monopoly

 

DK Human Body

 

and some maths stuff for the kids
