St Louis Posted 16 November, 2011 Posted 16 November, 2011 Apologies if I am in the wrong section here, but couldn't really see the correct one. I have a friend who has a ticket for the Brighton game this Saturday and they are keen to attend. However, they have their 4 year old daughter for the day (and have no option for a babysitter, and taking his daughter to the game isnt an option on this occasion) So they were wondering whether there is a Creche nearby to the ground that anybody could recommend? I believe there used to be a Creche at West Quay called Abacus, but they dont seem to exist anymore (or at least the phone number doesn't work anymore) Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.
The Cat Posted 16 November, 2011 Posted 16 November, 2011 There's one in the Quays but I'm not sure if that's limited to people using the pool or gym. Does Ikea have one? It's got some sort of kids area anyway.
Mattio Posted 16 November, 2011 Posted 16 November, 2011 Is that Ollies place still opened? That's a 10 minute walk from the ground
shurlock Posted 16 November, 2011 Posted 16 November, 2011 Some say it is called "The Chapel" i thought you meant the northam
hamster Posted 16 November, 2011 Posted 16 November, 2011 You have to stay with your kids at Olly Octopus.
bridge too far Posted 16 November, 2011 Posted 16 November, 2011 You have to stay with your kids at Olly Octopus. And I think this applies to IKEA (in that you have to be in the building)
Saint Mikey Posted 16 November, 2011 Posted 16 November, 2011 You have to stay with your kids at Olly Octopus. Hmmm. No good for the OP. He obviously wants to abandon his kid with strangers, so he can go and get smashed in at the football. How about handcuffing the kid to one of the bike stands outside SMS?

How about handcuffing the kid to one of the bike stands outside SMS? Well not quite how you put it, but yes it's so a friend can attend the game Just seen that Chelsea offer a creche on matchdays... Nicola is missing a business opportunity here! The bike stand idea isn't a bad one though...... Thanks to everyone for their help anyway!
The Cat Posted 16 November, 2011 Posted 16 November, 2011 You have to stay with your kids at Olly Octopus. Ollies Ocean World it's called. Shut down now though.
Mattio Posted 16 November, 2011 Posted 16 November, 2011 What about this place? http://www.littleshipmates.com/ Round the corner from SMS but don't know if it's opened on weekends
hamster Posted 16 November, 2011 Posted 16 November, 2011 Mikey's looking for a career change. Ask him.Seriously though, Google map search childminders
dubai_phil Posted 16 November, 2011 Posted 16 November, 2011 i thought you meant the northam Others may call it Block 42. But we know it as The Academy
Faz Posted 16 November, 2011 Posted 16 November, 2011 Tell him I'll look after his ticket, he can look after the kid.
Gemmel Posted 16 November, 2011 Posted 16 November, 2011 I smell another revenue stream for Mr C. There must be a few places within the stadium that could host 20 plus squealing kids. Saints first team in the Prem with a matchday creche :)

SNSUN Posted 17 November, 2011 Posted 17 November, 2011 I'll look after the kids as long as you promise not to do any background checks.
