Secret Site Agent Posted 29 October, 2008 Posted 29 October, 2008 Instead of Lowe out Instead of Wilde out Instead of Wilde crossing the chamber again and Leon Crouch back in How about they all sit down, take off their ego’s at the door. Form a coalition with other interested parties. And work together with each other in this crisis to save the club and keep us in the CC this season, with a realistic plan for the future. That will also include the Lowe bad/Lowe good types coming together to support the team. And try and encourage the ‘I am going because of Lowe’ chappies and chappess’ to return. And if you are quickly trying to type, ‘ I can’t afford to go, I live too far away, you can’t make me..’ then please don’t bother. That is a given, and I’m not interested in it here. If there is a reason for not going that is not linked with ‘’Cause I aren’t filling Lowe’s pocket’ that is fine. There, I’ve said it twice. But if we are discussing a crisis strategy, would you not attempt to change you outlook and attempt to attend at home again? And do you think a crisis board would work? How would you propose it be structured? Would it be possible for egos to be left at the door? Or will it be a bun fight? Should our banners read, ‘For **** Sake, Work Together, ****s’ Rather than ‘Lowe and Wild out’? We can only urinate with the appendage we have got. Remember, let be convincing, coherent, cogent, and well-argued, with lucid rational replies based on reason please, we are not at home to Mr ‘Because I say so’, or Mrs ‘unreasonable rant that adds nothing to the debate’ today. Over to you, my brothers and sisters in Red and White.
alpine_saint Posted 29 October, 2008 Posted 29 October, 2008 Crouch trying to negotiate with Lowe is like Morgan Tsvangirai trying to negotiate with Robert Mugabe. Fine, so long as he accepts Lowe will be boss....... Bizarre, considering Crouch is a bigger shareholder than him (lowe is only 3rd biggest), that Lowe is boss. Suppose we have Guy "Nose-In-The-Tough" Askham and his cronies to thank for keeping him there...
alpine_saint Posted 29 October, 2008 Posted 29 October, 2008 It will not work. Trust me. Completely on this one, Ron. Too much water under the bridge there for that to work.
Capel Saint Posted 29 October, 2008 Posted 29 October, 2008 Completely on this one, Ron. Too much water under the bridge there for that to work. Agreed. Crouch will not forgive Lowe and Wilde for hoisting him out of the Chairmans seat.
Wes Tender Posted 29 October, 2008 Posted 29 October, 2008 The only workable compromise is one comprising people on the board acceptable to all of the major shareholders, but being none of them themselves.
70's Mike Posted 29 October, 2008 Posted 29 October, 2008 Agreed. Crouch will not forgive Lowe and Wilde for hoisting him out of the Chairmans seat. Rupert forgave Wilde
DaveyR Posted 29 October, 2008 Posted 29 October, 2008 Rupert forgave Wilde Only because Wilde is now Ruperts puppy
Capel Saint Posted 29 October, 2008 Posted 29 October, 2008 Rupert forgave Wilde Yes, because Lowe needs Wilde on board due to being tha largest shareholder. It also suits Wilde as it allows him to be part of SFC again.
EastleighSoulBoy Posted 29 October, 2008 Posted 29 October, 2008 Only because Wilde is now Ruperts puppy And LC is too pugnacious a character to let anyone pull his strings. As stated above, I don't think that it would work.
SaintRobbie Posted 29 October, 2008 Posted 29 October, 2008 Utopian idea this really... now lets all take our realist pills and contemplate the solution.... No chance of the boardroom uniting. Get them all out - lets all unite as fans and tell the world we're for sale and willing to take ANYONE with some cash who's prepared to get rid of this joke boardroom and joke football team and fraud of a coach. By the way it has to be completed by January or we will relegate and more than likely hit administration in League 1 anyway.
Mole Posted 29 October, 2008 Posted 29 October, 2008 Lowe cannot work as a team. It's pointless even discussing a coalition of unity. Lowe Out.
