Will be playing The Black Album in full at next years Download festival, just announced on Radio 1.

 

Needless to say, I'm excited and will be there! Probably Heavy Metals greatest and most iconic album.

Apart from the four albums before, its their best album

The black album is alright, but Jonnyboy is right. The other four are better.

 

For me, the black album is the point at which they turned from credible musicians into what they became afterward, although I didn't realise it at the time.

 

...And Justice For All is my fave, then Master of Puppets, but its very very close between them - and both of them crap all over the radio friendly black album.
