1976_Child Posted 6 November, 2011 Posted 6 November, 2011 I have been going through a Cheerios phase recently. I'm thinking of not restocking the box when I go to Sainsbury's tomorrow. I think I will have a few weeks back on the Grape Nuts. What is your favourite cereal?
bridge too far Posted 6 November, 2011 Posted 6 November, 2011 Dorset Cereals porridge with cranberries.
saintscottofthenortham Posted 6 November, 2011 Posted 6 November, 2011 Lucky Charms. Anyone who heads over the pond is under firm instructions to bring me back as many boxes as physically possible. Along me peanut butter & coconut M&M's. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
1976_Child Posted 6 November, 2011 Author Posted 6 November, 2011 Rice Krispies or Weetabix. Rice Krispies? What are you? Nine? Next you'll be telling me sugar poofs.
Jillyanne Posted 6 November, 2011 Posted 6 November, 2011 Rice Krispies? What are you? Nine? Next you'll be telling me sugar poofs. Ah, forgot them. yes Sugar Puffs also (no added sugar though)
bridge too far Posted 6 November, 2011 Posted 6 November, 2011 yes, it is. It's baby food IMO. Even my little grandson has COLD milk on his Weetabix.
1976_Child Posted 6 November, 2011 Author Posted 6 November, 2011 It's baby food IMO. Even my little grandson has COLD milk on his Weetabix. Thank you!
dune Posted 6 November, 2011 Posted 6 November, 2011 It's baby food IMO. Even my little grandson has COLD milk on his Weetabix. Such a snob.
bowers-sfc Posted 6 November, 2011 Posted 6 November, 2011 Lucky Charms. Anyone who heads over the pond is under firm instructions to bring me back as many boxes as physically possible. Along me peanut butter & coconut M&M's. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... You do know they sell them in southampton? although at £7 a box
saintscottofthenortham Posted 6 November, 2011 Posted 6 November, 2011 You do know they sell them in southampton? although at £7 a box Exactly.
Saint in Paradise Posted 6 November, 2011 Posted 6 November, 2011 Cold milk is probably only used because those who live up north can't afford to heat it.
LGTL Posted 6 November, 2011 Posted 6 November, 2011 Cinnabon cereal by Kellogs. Only available in the US though
dubai_phil Posted 6 November, 2011 Posted 6 November, 2011 Honey Nut mini Shredded Wheat..... We get to see them on shelves here about once every two years....
ecuk268 Posted 6 November, 2011 Posted 6 November, 2011 I too have a weakness for Sugar Puffs but as a token gesture to healthy eating, I mix them with Special K or muesli.
OVER THE HILL Posted 6 November, 2011 Posted 6 November, 2011 Co-Op muesli or bran flakes or a mixture of both for me.
angelman Posted 6 November, 2011 Posted 6 November, 2011 Weetabix and warm milk wasn't as good as Weetaflakes and warm milk when I was growing up. Might have just been crushed up Weetabix in the first place but 30+ years tends to fog the brain on such unimportant things. Normally - Shreddies (with cold mile) without sugar. relatively low in salt/sugar. Naughty - Frosties.
egg Posted 7 November, 2011 Posted 7 November, 2011 Porridge with honey and sultanas. I have it daily and bounce all day. If we run out then weetabix with honey. Quite like a bit of muesli too. Lidl own is mighty fine.
dune Posted 7 November, 2011 Posted 7 November, 2011 Ready Brek. mmm, another of my favs. I also love porridge (with sugar and cream). F/ck all this healthy eating b/lllocks. If you're active you don't get fat. In fact I expect porridge with spooned on sugar contains less sugar than most factory produced cereals.
Jones91 Posted 7 November, 2011 Posted 7 November, 2011 Winter: Weetabix with warm milk (spoon of sugar per weetabix) Summer: Coco pops mixed with chocolate squares (cold milk)
bpsaint Posted 7 November, 2011 Posted 7 November, 2011 Curiously Cinnamon, although I'll always call the by their original name of Cinnamon Grahams. Could quite easily munch through a whole box if I wanted to.
RonManager Posted 7 November, 2011 Posted 7 November, 2011 mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm crussssssttyyyyyyyyy fffllaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannge
dubai_phil Posted 7 November, 2011 Posted 7 November, 2011 Hmmm memories On the occassions I use dto stay in those Full English Breakfast included hotels like the Thistle in London Porridge with about a half a spoon of Brown Sugar... yummmmmm
Smirking_Saint Posted 7 November, 2011 Posted 7 November, 2011 Porridge with honey or ricicles or Raisin wheats
1976_Child Posted 8 November, 2011 Author Posted 8 November, 2011 What the f*ck are grape nuts? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grape-Nuts
Saint-scooby Posted 8 November, 2011 Posted 8 November, 2011 Farleys rusks with brown sugar and milk Corn flakes with banana Lucky Charms are ok but Fruit Loops rule
Danny R Posted 8 November, 2011 Posted 8 November, 2011 Crunchy nut cornflakes, easy. This. Anyone who doesn't agree is a c**t
