Just got my tickets, taking my 4 yr old to his 1st home game. Only tickets I could get 3 in a row was block 25 row nn

must admit, after the updates from last week i'd have thought this would have been sold out by now.

It very nearly has - Anyone still intending to buy tickets for this game should hurry.... I just phoned in to get three tickets and they only have blocks 1-3 left...suits me perfectly, right next to the Brighton fans and the Itchen is the only stand i havent been in so far this season.

I can't wait for this. International breaks do my head in, and this one couldn't have come at a worse time.

Looking forward to a good p*ss up

Agreed, and this one seems to be going on forever.

Totally fed up of the Capello-to-Terry-to-Lampard-to-Rooney (when he's not a tw*t that has got himself red-carded for the tournament and so undermines any point in his participation) mutual masturbation sessions...

F*cking joke. Just called up to try and transfer my two tickets from the Chapel to blocks 1-3 to be told the tickets are non-transferable?! I've always been able to do it before!

i think you have to go to the window at the ticket office and re-print new ones there taking the other ones off you. that is what my mate did, they wouldn't do it over the phone though

Vicente's out according to their boards. A bonus I suppose, though he is over-rated. They made out they'd signed Messi when he joined. Used to be awesome about 5/6 years ago but injuries have put him past his best.

Though last season when they had a few injuries, they then parked the proverbial bus at St Mary's. Hopefully they actually have a go because we seem to prefer playing in open games.

Wish I could get excited about watching this lot on Saturday but fear that Poyet will just park the bus in front of goal and rely on hitting us on the break. Dreading a nil-nil and the more likely 1-1. Fast open game it will not be, Seagulls are in poor form right now and Poyet remains a prize sulky ***** of a spoiler!

Still if we could mange a 5-0 we might rid the league of the bastard.

Hard to disagrre with that sentiment, as we now even paly like the effing Italians... 1-0, 1-0, 1-0, 1-0

Just been looking through Brighton's recent run of results on their OS, and read the match report for their last away game at Watford (lost 1-0). According to that they failed to muster a single shot on target, against arguably one of the worst sides in the division. 1 win out of the last 10 games doesn't make pretty reading. Not wanting to tempt fate at all, and knowing that Brighton will be really up for this game, if we play like we have done at home this season then we should go and win this comfortably.

A similar game to the Middlesbrough one in store IMO, we were all expecting a very tight and tough game and we went and put 3 past them without reply. I'm going for 3-1 Saints.

So after work today, I'm going towards the gates at Victoria tube station, and I see a bit of commotion up ahead. It turns out some bloke has pushed in front of someone at the barrier. I get a bit closer and can't believe my eyes, this bloke is none other that our mate Gus! I followed him as much as I could after this, as he barged through people, seemingly trying to get a 'good space' on the train, presumably out of view of all of his admirers. I'm pretty sure he noticed me following him, but as my esteemed colleague and fellow poster 'Beavis17' pointed out, if I had been questioned, I could have merely stated that I was 'keeping up'. He got off at Green Park if this is of any interest to anyone.

Green Park - next to the Ritz and other fancy hotels = some dodgy transfer meeting with agents, or maybe a club he is being tapped up to move to. caretaker at spurs while Harry is on sick leave maybe.

It will be interesting to see if they come out to have a go at us or if the are going to play deep to try & hit us on the counter attack they like us try to get the ball down & pass I hope they try & have a go.

From what i've seen he's just a name. It like us saying we signed internationals when we signed Kerry Dixon and David Speedie.

I'm so up for this game. All 3 of my brothers support Brighton and a fair few of my friends. Its was non stop gloating last season, even though they ended up beating us by 3 points and a worse goal difference. If we come out of the blocks well, it could be a battering.

I see from the OS that the premier league's finest, Peter Walton, is the ref on Saturday. Last time we had this prize prat was the 1-0 win over Leeds, a couple of weeks before the Paint pot final.

In the 2 seasons we had with 3rd division refs, this was by far the most inept performance and from a, supposed, "Elite" official as well.

He really was awful that day. Though it arguably spurred the corwd and the players on more.

had a dream last night that i was at the match. The itchen tried to unveil a banner saying F-uck off gus but it went wrong so they sent it over to the Northam. At this point, Gus gets upset, comes over to the Northam has a fight with a fan and the match is a abandoned.

Peter Walton was god awful for the Leeds game but still will take a one nil on Sat right now.

In the words of Comic Book guy in Simpsons..."Worst ref performance...ever!."

If he's anything like that game, teamed with Brighton's time-wasting and card-waving antics, the result could be affected. Then again, you can't get any worse then that Leeds game and we haven't relied on refs so far...here's hoping we stroll home without any influence from Walton or Poyet.

Interestingly, Brighton can't really afford to lose this game. The middle of the table is quite dense and Brighton have been freefalling. Yet a win could take them back into the play-offs. I reckon they'll be playing for a tight boring draw, whilst hoping to break and score. CMS usually does well against us. We should have the advantagde, but the game could go either way. For sure it won't be a walkover. Beware conceding early in either half, Saints!

Just looking through their list of playing staff and I think there is some quality there. Yes, I know they're on a bad run, but I've got a feeling they'll give us our toughest test so far this season. I know a lot on here don't like him much, but Poyet is no mug in my eyes and they'll be desperate to stop us in our tracks.

Anyone ITK on team news their end?

Aside from the 1st half last season at London Road when has CMS done well against us?

Any chance this one will be streamed like Derby/Boro? I know it's a long shot but...

Well it seems it will be shown here in Dubai on Al Jazeira so the chances could be pretty good.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed I can find somewhere showing it as they will have all the prems availablr live as well with Abu Dhabi TV - but looking at some of the fixtures in The Prem we could be in with a shout!!

Nothing to fear! We are on a superb roll, the players and manager believe- the manager has instilled a number of shapes to counteract anything the opposition may offer. I predict more gushing football after about 15 minutes when Saints have sussed out Brightons hspe and tactics. 3;1 saints (1 is a late consolation)

Just read an interview with Nige and we have a couple of doubts for tomorrow - I wonder who? One is a definite no show and the other doubtful. At Coventry it looked like Rickie tweaked something - I wonder if it is him? Lallana must still be a doubt because of his foot?

Didn't see anything else...any word on the street?
