That said, I think it'll be more entertaining than the 0-0 (God bless Kelv) I witnessed last season, and it'll also show who is truly the best of the promoted clubs. :-) Straightforward 3-1 win please.

Barnard should be fit and hopefully Lallana will have his mojo back. Coconut to the best "keep up" chant. I'll bet Brompey fans are already reading this going "what a sad obsessed bunch of c**ts" on NSC. For some reason I can see us drawing this and having to put up with endless gloating about losing our winning run.

So far I think we've somehow managed to get more players injuried in the international breaks than during weeks with games..........

Surely after this break and a "south coast" derby game will be different - but I think Gus may just shock us! This is by no way a foregone conclusion - I just hope we maintain the home form. Could we really look at 100% record in November - blimey this makes a change to counting points we could win from games in hand to see if we can get out the bottom three! I know we should only be looking one game at a time - but I'm really looking forward to doing Pompey at Fratton Park. A few games before then - probably come down for Blackpool - but definitely going to Doncaster.

Speaking to my Albion friends, they have really not performed so far this season. Lots of injuries too. This could be to our advantage or they could really up their game and come at us from the get-go. However, I am quietly confident after seeing what our lads are capable of and with a big noisy crowd at SMS that we will prevail. I reckon a sneaky 2-1 win.
