What is the most frustrating thing for you on this forum as a Saints fan..?

Mine is people spelling the players names incorrectly. Frankly, I find it lazy and annoying.

Cue people saying 'Threads like this'.

I find everything annoying, but that one is quite high on my list of things I cannot begin to understand. It's on the big screen at the ground, it's in the programme, it's on the telly, on the back of the players' shirts, it's usually already correctly spelt in the same thread, and you're actually on a computer which gives you access to an enormous database of information which will allow you to check if you're not sure. How, in those circumstances, are you not able to spell the player's name right ?

For the record, we don't have a Davies in goal, or a Llanna in midfield, or a Hoofelt at the back (or a Seabourne for that matter) or a Connelly up front. Historically, I can't ever remember how to spell Egil's surname, or that of the bloke called Andreas who played at the back in our Prem relegation season, SO I LOOK THEM UP BEFORE POSTING.

Is it too much to ask ? Ignore that, when people can't even spell "to" correctly it obviously is.

Apart from that, all song threads, the polarising of others' opinions by people who don't bother to debate the nuances of any argument, knee-jerkism, anyone at all talking about fashionable clothing of any kind at football as by definition it doesn't exist, and all WUMs and trolls.

I get frustrated by people who unnecessarily include the phrase "as a Saints fan" in the title of threads when the rules for this forum state that "We ask that supporters of other clubs do not post on this forum" ;)

And "would of" instead of "would have"

People who drive around with their fog lights on when it's not foggy.

In fairness, a lot of cars like VW-Audi group cars, now have daytime running lights as default and the front fog lights come on and go off as you go around corners as a cheap way to produce adaptive lighting.

definately. should of. there.

... "would of" instead of "would have"

Its an internet speech thing, a bit like using "teh" to help convey the mood of the point you are making. Viz use it as a joke device regularly, for example "he should of have of...."

For one or two people maybe but I'd hazard a guess that the vast majority don't even realise they are making a mistake.

People's assertions of what makes a good fan and what makes a bad fan and how they are a supa-dupa fan because they act like a **** every match. And I'm probably contradicting myself there.

Bloody hypo, whenever there's a post by him and i'm browsing on my phone it takes an hour to scroll past all the game's he's record holder of because my phone feels the need to display them all.

Know it all teenagers are also very annoying.

Agree with this. Buzzin 'Orn used to do it, now that mantle has passed to saintandy and less so Super Mikey. Farawaysaint's reason is the best so far and is encouaging me to post here! (Use tapatalk)

Being called a happy clapper because you tend you view the club you support in a positive light and try to find enjoyment in it rather than to expect imminent doom and implosions

Grammatically it has to be 'are' instead of 'our', it forces you to have to re-read the sentance.

I don't like WGS not the man the acronym, its GS or Gordon Strachan, also Citeh for Man City.

But most of all the over critical moaners, whether they are having a go at players, the club, our fans, other fans, other posters. I can handle facts and opinions but baseless moaning gets me.

The fact that there is no more Deppo yet plenty of dunes, trousers, hypos, alpines et al.

Yay. I've made it into someone's hall of fame. Well chuffed.

Mikey is less annoying now. That said being a leftie he'll never be normal. But as one know it all teen enters adulthood up pop ever increasing numbers of pampered brats.

You realise liberal people are far more likely to change their mind than right wing nationalists?

Oh, we can add Dune trying to get his political bull**** onto as many threads as possible.

I would never politicise the main board.

This too.

Deppo posts on another forum and he has called himself Dune. But no-one takes any notice of him because he's very boring and very unfunny.

The club is in the best stste it has been in for years, and there are still total idiots on here, who do nothing but pick faults in the club,NC,even NA and some of the players.

Worst of all, some even pick nasty and personal arguments with their fellow Saints fans, this is absolutely unbelievable.

The vendettas and point scoring that end up highjacking threads.

People who type "highjacking" instead of "hijacking". That gets me every time.

Most annoying thing is that there is nothing to moan about. Saints are top of the league playing the best football I can remember in a very long time, the Manager is great and you can see that he thinks about stuff and makes sensible decision. I go to SMS knowing that I will very likely see a win. Its reasonably settled behind the scenes and the chairman is not Rupert Lowe.

Bit dull really. Not like the old days

The prediction league.....I put Saints to win every week and they have let me down a few times...

Sort it out Saints..stasrting with 3-0 win at Coventry..... and idiots who put WIFM:rolleyes:
