Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 Mine is people spelling the players names incorrectly. Frankly, I find it lazy and annoying. Cue people saying 'Threads like this'.
Colinjb Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 All this 'I'm a better fan then you' ******** and the criticism of how other fans behave. Just so long they arn't being intentionally offensive, what's the problem!?
Saint Garrett Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 Other fans telling you how you should be/act/wear at football.
Saint_clark Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 All this 'I'm a better fan then you' ******** and the criticism of how other fans behave. Just so long they arn't being intentionally offensive, what's the problem!? Definitely.
Pilchards Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 Mine is people spelling the players names incorrectly. Frankly, I find it lazy and annoying. Cue people saying 'Threads like this'. I totally agree with you, when do people realise it's not Lalanna but in fact Lallanna. DOH....
hypochondriac Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 Davis not Davies, Adkins not Atkins etc
The Cat Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 People taking things far too seriously. It's a football forum, that's all.
buctootim Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 The petty points scoring and lack of humour.
The Cat Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 Hypo's avatar. That joke left the building a long time ago.
Colinjb Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 Hypo's avatar. That joke left the building a long time ago. I never have understood who 'RM' is.
The Cat Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 I never have understood who 'RM' is. As they are my initials I'd like to think it's me. Sadly I believe it's the slightly less talented Ricky Martin.
Ziggy Stardust Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 As an infrequent poster, the amount of unpleasantness between fans who are supposed to all be on the same side. I used to post regularly on the old 606 boards and loved the banter between us and the other teams but don't get the bigger better fan playground stuff here. For example, if I were to be posting on a 606 board, I would be pointing out to Pompey fans this morning that these so-called great supporters still have around 20% of their tickets left for our derby match, having gone on general sale yesterday. Hilarious!
influx Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 I find any threads about the clubs finances really annoying. Maybe not the initial subject matter so much, but the way some going into far too much detail about in's and out's at the club. I undersootd this a little when we went into admin but there were threads like this way before then. Your average fan just doesnt care, and shouldnt IMO.
LGTL Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 Lack of any real laugh out loud moments. They used to be regular a few years ago but not so much anymore.
influx Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 I find it annoying that people feed the alpine troll too. Boring sad little man!
trousers Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 Lack of any real laugh out loud moments I've been trying to work out why that is....ah, got it..... No Deppo Nutshell
trousers Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 I find it annoying that people feed the alpine troll too. Boring sad little man! I see what you did there.... ;-)
Dig Dig Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 sad old has beens whinging about football not being what it was in the 80's
The Kraken Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 Anyone who gets completely wound up about anyone discussing anything they disagree should be talked about, or can't get their head around. And then invades the thread to tell all and sundry what a complete atrocity it is to talk about it. For instance, speculation about what our new signings will be like, how a new manager will fare etc, where so many people come out with the line "Why don't you just wait and find out rather than speculate?". It's an internet chat forum; speculation and idle gossip is what it was invented for. And if you don't want to get involved with the discussion, no-one is forcing you!
Huffton Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 Certain peoples disability to accept someone else has a different opinion to theirs without resorting to petty abuse.
alpine_saint Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 All this 'I'm a better fan then you' ******** and the criticism of how other fans behave. Just so long they arn't being intentionally offensive, what's the problem!? This.
Jones91 Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 The majority of posters on here don't represent the average Saints fan, more like people that should work for the council.
conaero Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 Moaners and whingers when things dont go our way. We are a Club and a team FFS.
Ivan Katalinic's 'tache Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 All this 'I'm a better fan then you' ******** and the criticism of how other fans behave. Just so long they arn't being intentionally offensive, what's the problem!? This. And no longer being allowed a generic transfer thread during the transfer windows.

ecuk268 Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 Not an annoyance but I'm amazed at how much time some people spend on here. Don't they have any work to do or other interests in life?
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 3 November, 2011 Author Posted 3 November, 2011 definately. should of. there. 'Brought' instead of 'Bought'.

Haven't you got anything better to do than keep tabs on who spends how much time on here....? (Only kidding, obviously) :-)

Mowgli Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 sad old has beens whinging about football not being what it was in the 80's How true. Nostalgia just aint what it used to be.
NY Saint Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 The over the top emotional reactions to everything and I've problems getting help; three or four emails to the admins and messages posted seeking support on a logon issue and not had a response. However, the forum and its predecessors have been fantastic for overseas fans on the whole.
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 3 November, 2011 Author Posted 3 November, 2011 COYR when that applies to half the country. COYS is unique. Apart from Spurs...and Swansea.
Saint Malc Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 Apart from Spurs...and Swansea. When I read acronyms I always say the words to myself and I can, confidently, say I've always said Saints in my head.
Saint_clark Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 When I read acronyms I always say the words to myself and I can, confidently, say I've always said Saints in my head. And whenever i've seen COYR i've always read it as Reds.
Saint Malc Posted 3 November, 2011 Posted 3 November, 2011 And whenever i've seen COYR i've always read it as Reds. Exactly my point. Thank you. Half the country
