Ferguson Unhappy With Saints

Sad c**t living in his dads shadow already scared of being a mediocre bitter twisted goony little manager who never gets a shot at the big time because of hang ups like this. It was a football match. When Nige loses thank god he does so with grace and dignity. Of all the great things Darren could have learned from his pa he has sadly taken only the bully/toys out the pram/why didnt i get my way attribute.

What a shame. C**k!

What I found funnier was Ferguson's claim that they conceded two sloppy goals. Funny that because Middlesborough conceded three sloppy goals on Saturday and I don't know how many other sides have been gifting us goals over the past 19 home matches. What have Saints done to deserve such generosity?

Haven't seen the first, but we tore them a new one for the second. Nothing sloppy about it!

No real surprise there both Fergies are graceless knobs in defeat. Just seen the challenges on the Saints player & both tackles are worthy of Yellow cards. On both occasions he goes to ground, sliding in with studs showing & goes through our player each time. Don't see what he is complaining about. Probably P**sed off that Chaplow stuck it to him again. As for the goals both well worked defence splitting moves, end of!

Must admit that from just the Player highlights I thought the 2nd yellow was given for a pretty innocuous tackle.

If refs start giving regular yellows for that then plenty of games are going to be down to 6 a side (I know I know)

The ref may well be right but I've seen plenty like that go unpunished,no free kick, nothing.

I think games get abandoned if you're reduced to 7 men so I doubt that'd ever happen.

felt a harsh red as both yellows hadn't caused injuries, but both were reckless and neither yellow was a result of dives of overplaying the tackles by our guys. They simply looked reckless from the ref's point of view and difficult for him to not book him for either in this day and age. After the first yellow the lad should be staying on his feet.

As for gifting us the goals, the second should have been cleared by someone - so yes a bit of a gift, the first was just fast accurate passing that undone them and would have done for anyone.

Always think it is bit stupid when managers moan about 'sloppy goals'. Looking at Posh's goals conceded tally this season you can better you bottom dollar that they've let in plenty of 'sloppy goals'. The conclusion is that their defenders and/or their coaches aren't that good - which is probably why they're playing for Posh in the first place and not at a higher level.

I've just watched the highlights on Saintsplayer and when Freckles put in the second tackle, all I saw was one Saints player raise his arms and look at the ref because his team-mate had just been chopped down - no worse than any other professional player would do.

What I did notice, however, was when we scored both our goals the entire Posh defence in unison raised their hands and looked the the lino despite there being not the slightest hint of offside about either of them. Automatic reaction - they've scored therefore they must have been offside because we couldn't possibly have f*cked up enough to let them score, surely?

DF really is a hypocritical nobhead.

Will have to wait until the BBC highlights to come out before I can say for sure, but I thought that quite a few of ours gathered at the scene of the crime and looked as though they were pretty upset with the tackle (Chaplow & Hammond plus Harding giving it large - at least).

Not sure how bad the tackle was and it may be that it was worthy of being wound up about, but I wouldn't say we left it solely up to the ref to decide (happy to be proved wrong when the highlights come out and they've included the sending off).

Just watched the highlights on i-player. The players put there hands up for a free-kick and obviously one or two had a word to say on the challenge but they were hardly crowding the ref demanding a sending off. And to be fair, some refs would have given a straight red anyway for that tackle. Just reinforces the world's view that he is Kn0b, son of Kn0b.

Even Peterborough's website thought it was a merited sending off! I dont like seeing players appealing for an opponent to be sending off but I'm not sure our players particularly did and also the ref might always intended to have issued a second yellow anyway. I think the sending off actually caused us to lose our flow and certainly didn't help us.

....that's surely nothing new - is it ?. You don't need a crystal ball to see that.

He's surely one of the worst moaners in the Football League, (must be a family trait) !

Cant stand the fact that the whole media are ****ing tehmselves over Fergusens 25 years thing.... not saying hes crap, but its just atad easier to win things when you get a crop of special youngsters who STAY at your club + you have the cash to reward them with the best wages and supplement with so world stars... I am sure would win something if Bale, Walcott, Oxo, Lallana, Bridge + a few top players were here with a lesser manager than 'fergie' - not forgetting the extra points gained in Fergie time neither.... ;-)

Whatever you think about Ferguson the man, you cannot knock his achievements. And plenty more managers have had plenty more cash at their disposal and achieved two tenths of sod all by comparison. United won the league title in 1966/7 and then not again until 1992/3 - they've since won it a dozen or so times!!!

Yes, I can't stand him but his record in arguably the most stressful managerial position in the world, is nothing short of remarkable.

That weird advantage thing was the ref pointing the wrong way for the free kick (which was definitely ours) then realising he should have pointed the other way, not having time to point the other way before we took it, and then waving play on to show the quick kick was okay.
