saintmatt Posted 30 October, 2011 Posted 30 October, 2011 (edited) I thought it might be fun to pull together a set of photos that best illustrate the most pivotal and memorable moments in Saints' history. I'll start with the relatively recent (and obvious): Feel free to add your own - it wouldn't be much of a thread otherwise! - and we could look to put together a picture timeline of sorts. Looking for good, bad (first Ted Bates statue), subtle and obvious. And if it's a picture of a person, try not to use any old picture, use the most iconic Go! Edited 30 October, 2011 by saintmatt
st.sj Posted 30 October, 2011 Posted 30 October, 2011 sure theres a picture of Bobby Stokes held aloft with the f.a. cup.
fanimal Posted 30 October, 2011 Posted 30 October, 2011 I just love this pic as I am in it!! (under MLT right armpit, with my scarf like a tie around my neck, about to go ballistic and tears form!!)
B Rabbit Posted 30 October, 2011 Posted 30 October, 2011 Not sure if it counts as an iconic photo...but it's f*cking sweet and shows how good our home crowds can be
ericofarabia Posted 31 October, 2011 Posted 31 October, 2011 (edited) Don't think a picture of Pulis in A Saints Shirt on a football pitch exists!! Edited 31 October, 2011 by ericofarabia
carljack Posted 31 October, 2011 Posted 31 October, 2011 Doing a bit of Freelance, cover for Peter Storrie down at Farton I hear.
ericofarabia Posted 31 October, 2011 Posted 31 October, 2011 Dune - the word was iconic ... not moronic!! Good effort though!!

Gemmel Posted 31 October, 2011 Posted 31 October, 2011 Am I right in thinking this was the last one Lizzie ever did (Or is that just a Saints myth)
Lets B Avenue Posted 31 October, 2011 Posted 31 October, 2011 Your average fan from block 42. Why aren't they waiving their Season Tickets then.
Toadhall Saint Posted 31 October, 2011 Posted 31 October, 2011 Am I right in thinking this was the last one Lizzie ever did (Or is that just a Saints myth) Your right - no myth.
Toadhall Saint Posted 31 October, 2011 Posted 31 October, 2011 Your average fan from block 42. Is that you on the left?
sotonjoe Posted 31 October, 2011 Posted 31 October, 2011 A guy called I_Hoops posted these on Twitter yesterday and I hope he doesn't mind if I link to them here. They are all of the St Marys site from before it was cleared and St Marys built. I think the first is of the site from the bridge / by the new foot bridge, the 2nd would be looking across the Northam car park from the Britannia Road entrance and the last one is looking at what is now reception. The pictures aren't that great but it's fascinating to see the site before the stadium was built. I wonder if anybody else has pics of the site pre-SMS?
marc_saint Posted 31 October, 2011 Posted 31 October, 2011 Dune, those pics of BBS on that coach, that brings back memories!!!! What an awful coach trip back from Derby that was!
