FA Cup 1st round memories

With the 1st round draw of the FA Cup taking place today, I feel this would be a good time to reminisce about the days when Southampton were in the hat for round 1.

Seem to remember a pretty exciting 2nd half against Bristol Rovers a couple of seasons ago with Connolly getting a couple of goals in a 3-2 victory. Those were the days...

AFC Totton v Bradford (Park Avenue) very good opportunity for a local rising through the leagues club to make round 2 and potentially round 3, what dreamland it would be to have Man United rocking up to Testwood Stadium in round 3, one can dream right?!

Great draw for Totton, real chance of getting further from here.

Dover went out on Saturday so no chance of last year's heroics being repeated; did Aldershot 2-0 in round 1, won 2-0 at Gillingham in round 2 (and against their ex-manager too), and gave a very good account of themselves away at Huddersfield in round 3 in front of 2,500 travelling fans .... happy days.
