Nice blokes, mate and I had snuck in early and we saw them soundcheck and hung around with them. Think it was before Grohl joined, it's a bit hazy...

As stated above they played Pompey Poly in Autumn 1989 with TAD (THE CATARAN were billed to play but didn't much to my disappointment) around the same time as FUGAZI & BAD BRAINS did. Dave Grohl's pre-NIRVANA band SCREAM played the Southampton West Indian Club in Summer 1986 but this was before he joined them.
