I also think this aspect of Hammond's game is allowed to flourish with Chaplow in the team as it allows us

to seamlessly change to Adkins 'diamond' formation during a game with the aforementioned players a

natural top and bottom point of that system.

Schneiderlin is the player that normally plays in the holding role just in front of the centre backs in the diamond system, not Hammond.

When was the last time we had a no score draw?

Gonna stick my neck out on thus one and go for a 0-0

My mother was a giraffe.

The last time we didn't win at home in the league, 0-0 against Notts County.

Cripes I was back for that match - it is a miracle that we beat Watford - as I went to that and was dreading the winning run would come to a shuddering halt with my track record :uhoh:

Must admit, i'm feeling more and more nervous before every game now. Maybe that has something to do with the fact that i'm at work and haven't had 10 pints (the usual pregame ritual on a Saturday). I think it's great news that Lee Tomlin is suspended. He's a big threat for them. However, i really think this is a potential banana skin for us. If they come off, Posh can be arguably the most potent front line in the league. Think this game will be much closer than Saturday...

These are the home games I missed the last two seasons because they fell on the first Tuesday and I was unavailable. They are the only home league games I have missed in the last 2 years.

1st Dec 2009 Wycombe - Won 1-0

2nd Feb 2010 Huddersfield - Won 5-0

2nd Nov 2010 Dagenham - Won 4-0

8th March 2011 Yeovil - Won 3-0 (I know 2nd Tuesday but I had an important meeting that night as well!)

5th April 2011 Charlton - Won 2-0

You guessed it, will not be there tonight.

Careful, I really think a few of you are getting carried away here. I think we will do it, but by a narrower margin. 2-1.

In the Predo league I went for 2-1. It'll be interesting though, Adam will be itching for a good performance since his return from injury, I reckon De Ridder will make a big impact on this game too, and goals for Rickie MUST be on the cards.

Yes they're good in attack, but our defence is looking a lot tighter as of recently, so they'll find it tought to break through, and that will create space for us to create chances. I wouldn't be suprised though if Adkins started Harding in place of Fox, to tighten up at the back,

Radio commentary is on radio 5 Live sports extra again tonight for those of you out of the area with a digital radio:

They seem to be putting us on quite a lot, so worth checking the listings.

Hmmm, I wonder whether Claridge will be the pundit again, like last time we were on (West Ham game). He wasn't too bad then...

Hadn't realised Peterborough are the only team in the league without a clean sheet and as we're the top scorers in the league I expect us to get at least two goals, it all depends on how we defend, keep control of McCann and I think we could win by a decent margin, get complacent then there's going to be at least 5 goals in the game but not sure what exactly the scoreline will be. I'm going for 3-2 saints.

I've been to many a game over the last 20 years, but that 5-0 Huddersfield game was right up there with the best I've ever seen.

Posh are the second highest scorers in the division aren't they??

Hope our defence is solid tonight because if José starts making the sort of error he did against Reading (before he went off) we may get punished.Still some of it may be down to the hamstring injury that he had then.

Reckon Posh might score first, sometimes we're a bit shaky at the start.

I hate to go all MLG on you but it was 4-1 the last time we beat them.

We beat them 5-0 in March last year under Pardew.

Interesting, my guess -

Richardson for Butters (shame as Butters got in the team of week)

Harding for Fox (Maybe to tighten up the defence)

Conners for Guly (if he did get a little injury, no point aggravating it)

I think you're right that Connolly will come in for Do Prado, however I think Butterfield will play, so the other two changes are harder to call. I would guess Schneiderlin in for one of the CMs. The third change I'm really not sure. Can't see Harding come in, Fox has been good and Harding hardly shone at Palace, however we could have said the same re Richardson/Butterfield.

Harding in for Fox would not tighten up the defence.
