West End Saint Posted 31 October, 2011 Share Posted 31 October, 2011 Just have to say what a great performance we could well have scored 6 gutted Guly did not get his hat trick & what a shame lambo's volley was saved but fantastic display of football the way it should be played. Chaplow was mom but special mention to Butterfield some quality crosses he is a decent player Cork played well & what a difference it makes having Lallana back. Left his last club becuase they played him out on the wing prefers to play up front (you can see why after saturday). Almost jacked it in at saints last season, but loves it here now, the best thing is the people when the fans sing his name it makes him very happy. Quick somebody check when his birthday is - you know how touchy some South Americans are if you forget such an important occassion I wish he'd go back to having a mohican - added to the coolness of having a Brazillian in the team. Where did I say that numpty, I said consider their reaction. People can state the facts as they see them but maybe people should allow players to have a bad game without declaring that they are sh#t and we wont win anything without replacing them, as people were saying after Reading regarding Guly, Fonte even Lambert (iirc). I'd love to have some film on FA Cup 6 th round, 2nd replay when we slaughtered Forest (then a first div.side ) 5-0 at White Hart Lane.
