Roger Posted 28 October, 2011 Share Posted 28 October, 2011 Well the OS article says 'early indications show that the attendance this weekend is likely to surpass the current second highest figure of the campaign which was set at the opening fixture of the season against Leeds United.' The attendance against Leeds was 25,860. The wording of the OS article suggests that the attendance is 'likely' to surpass this amount, and therefore hasn't yet, so we can probably assume that we have so far sold somewhere between 24-25k and they are expecting to sell a few more today and have a few walk up tomorrow. Therefore a crowd of between 26k and 27k is probably likely. I took it that 25.5k had been sold so probably be up to around 27k by end of today and then with walk up could be around 28k I reckon. O_RLY Posted 28 October, 2011 Share Posted 28 October, 2011 They had 3000 tickets left when I booked yesterday afternoon. Northam and Itchen sold out.

Alwightmush Posted 28 October, 2011 Share Posted 28 October, 2011 Just been down to the ticket office to get 2 tickets for some mates, unable to get 2 alongside each other in Itchen or Kingsland North, settled for 2 in Kingsland south. Looks like its not doing badly.
shurlock Posted 28 October, 2011 Share Posted 28 October, 2011 They opened blocks 1-3 - always a good sign?
JRM Posted 28 October, 2011 Share Posted 28 October, 2011 Boro have sold 1400 so far, bound to have a few paying on the day http://www.mfc.co.uk/page/news/moggas-message/0,,1~2497186,00.html so i'd expect it to be about 1500/1600 in their end, not bad for that distance. alehouseboys Posted 28 October, 2011 Share Posted 28 October, 2011 ...and apparently Borosold all their allocation. I don't know where you've heard that, last I heard they'd sold around 1400, by kick-off that'll probably be up to 15-1700 I'd guess. OS says they're hoping to surpass the Leeds attendance in this article, which was around 26,000, but it's probably moved on a fair bit since it was written. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2497163,00.html If they have now opened blocks 1 and 2 it could mean getting near to selling out, at least for home fans. CFSFC Posted 28 October, 2011 Share Posted 28 October, 2011 Id like to think that we'd get close to selling out and make a shed load of noice and squeeze out a nice little 1-
The9 Posted 28 October, 2011 Share Posted 28 October, 2011 So, "Boro have sold their allocation", but it's only going to be about 1500 people. This means that Block 43 and maybe 44 are available for Saints fans and they'll just shunt the segregation over, but also we've heard that "the Northam has sold out", so I'm assuming from that that those block 44 tickets won't be put on sale unless we sell out the rest of the ground first ? They tend to only put the segregation block on sale last, so maybe Kingsland corner to Northam (blocks 39-43) has sold out but 44 isn't on sale yet. Doubt 44 would have sold out already, plastics don't like being next to the away fans. Pretty sure they like to keep a massive empty block right behind the goal just to make us look bad on tv... September Saint Posted 28 October, 2011 Share Posted 28 October, 2011 Noticed that a couple of Arquiva Ouside Broadcast Units had just turned up at SMS so it looks as if we're a featured game on The League Show tomorrow.
Stu Man Do Posted 28 October, 2011 Share Posted 28 October, 2011 They had 3000 tickets left when I booked yesterday afternoon. Northam and Itchen sold out. Seeing as I've just been offered tickets in Block 43 of the Northam from the ticket office I don't think thats right. Itchen was 100% NOT sold out as easily found tickets in any block between 8-13. I think attendance will be around 25/26k.

saintchris23 Posted 28 October, 2011 Share Posted 28 October, 2011 Do you see him, socially, every couple of weeks? It's a she. I'm obviously having a thick moment and don't see the irony in your post.........Although I do love the obsession the moment someone passes on the slightest bit of info from within the stadium walls (gossip or fact) they get shot down with requests for a source. I'm not saying that you're alluding to that mind you.
