mightysaints Posted 26 October, 2011 Share Posted 26 October, 2011 Don't know why but my sons desktop PC USB's have stopped working. The keyboard works in the bios setup but then packs up once we boot into windows. The optical mouse lights up and again once into windows is shuts down. Can't access the computor without the mouse and have tried all ports etc. In the Bios the USB is switched on. Can anyone help as its driving me mad. dronskisaint Posted 21 November, 2011 Share Posted 21 November, 2011 Not sure if you've sorted this..guess you must have by now but I had this problem on my laptop running XP. It defeated our IT department but I eventually found it was caused by Kaspersky antivirus and that there was a fix on their support page.
