Bl@@dy brilliant frankly, midweek and all that.

Don't think too many will be seriously upset at the loss, and will have seen some good youngsters. But Forte might want to keep an eye out for 2571 people who may want a word....

Good turn out, made some noise and all standing, but it was a 4th round cup game in London so that's the sort of numbers I'd expect from us.

Exactly - that sort of support suggests the fans didn't see it as a "reserve" game.

I'm sure the majority who went would have remembered from previous rounds that we would make multiple changes, and would have relished the opportunity to watch some of the up and coming youngsters make their mark. Of course, being Saints fans they would also have expected us to win 4-0 away against a rival promotion winning team too :)

Skates can only manage to get 12000 to turn up at ' fishtown farton park 'last saturday for a championship game .. lowest gate of the day in the championship.

( that includes AWAY support and stewards) oh and best fans in the world

very decent support. The skate game looks like 3-4 tickets to me with Reading, Swindon, Palace and Bristol all attracting sizeable away crowds

I went.

Good game actually, team played well apart from the final ball (or taking any of our chances). Could of been 3-0 up in the first half.

Selhurst Park is a dump of a ground though real throw back to the 80's stadia. Still nice (mostly) good looking Cheerleaders (The cyrstal girls. (doing a quick google shoes the actual girls on the pitch and also a north london escort company. I don't think the two are related)) and have to say actually having a real Eagle flying about was something as well.

Coffee wasn't bad either. Burger outside the pub on the corner was nice as well.

All in all nice night out shame about the result.

I think 2 could be enough.

I thought that eagle was a fantastic touch - whoever dreamed it up was obviously tripping, the incongruity of a wild animal in a built-up space. Had health and safety written all over it. Hope Coventry and Hull follow suit.

Still that eagle had more of a clue than the ref.

i reckon any season ticket holder who applies will get a ticket, regardless of away games personally, loads of fans i know who do aways aren't season ticket holders

That was my highlight of the night. That and getting served within 2 minutes at the Wetherspoons by Thornton Heath station......unbelievable.

Being devils advocate, we only took 740 to palace the year we were relegated from the Championship.

True, but it was live on Sky.

Heard some Skate the other day claiming (and backtracking) that they were pound-for-pound the best fans world. Its the kind of garbage that would come out of the mouth of a puny flyweight.
