Frank's cousin Posted 26 October, 2011 Posted 26 October, 2011 Heavy defeat due. This will be the beginning of the slide everyone, remember 17th or thereabouts s where where will finish. A sad deluded keyboard warrior who spends most of his time rummmaging around in his mothers underwear draw 3. 1+2 I really thought that the days of kids using the anonimity of forums to try and be 'cool' ..... and giggle like girls at all those 'serious types' was over... sadly this chap is behind the times.... Naturally, we could still end up 17th - **** happens in football, but Dalek is the only one who woudl be happy about it basking in teh glorious knowledge that he had been proven right... so obviously not a Saints fan... more 'Commical Ali' (sic).....

It's all a part of his masterplan to get Glenda back in charge ... the man really is ona mission to get twaddle back in charge what ever the cost. a small part of me hopes he is just playing up to the delusion, but most of me somehow thinks he still believes in him.
krissyboy31 Posted 26 October, 2011 Posted 26 October, 2011 Was Hammond's suspension played out last night?

ericofarabia Posted 26 October, 2011 Posted 26 October, 2011 Cock! Thats so good!!! I am glad to have brought you some happiness (in a purely straight manly way). Cock is one of my favourite put down insults , especially when in the car on the mad roads of Dubai. So, to be able to put it on here is brilliant.
Dr Who? Posted 26 October, 2011 Posted 26 October, 2011 I still think that Brighton will be the team to bring are home run to an end, as they really cock me off, just like we did to them at their gaff. I think when we do lose or draw at home it will be against a team like Barnsley, Doncaster or Coventry if not Brighton and not one of the big cocks!! I do not think I could handle the face of that cock Gus if they do beat us, as he is such a cock!!
sfc4prem Posted 26 October, 2011 Posted 26 October, 2011 Personally I don't think we'll get beaten in the league all season. Yeh, that's right. Stuff that up yourself Gus Poyet you cock - completely irrelevant but I hate the man and wanted the opportunity to call someone a cock.
John Cool Posted 26 October, 2011 Posted 26 October, 2011 I think we'll do Boro 2-0, and our cocks will be crowing the day after
SaintAndy14 Posted 26 October, 2011 Posted 26 October, 2011 There's a lot of cock on the forum tonight
Saint Without a Halo Posted 26 October, 2011 Posted 26 October, 2011 There's a lot of cock on the forum tonight need a bit of Bull for balance
Golac's Iron Gonads Posted 27 October, 2011 Posted 27 October, 2011 A Saint Amongst Them: Middlesbrough http://wp.me/p1mFFL-cJ "playing nice flowing football and conceding goals has become a rare occurrence" haha I like that, backing up what others have said about their lack of creativity. Whereas for Saints both are commonplace.
MongoNeil Posted 27 October, 2011 Posted 27 October, 2011 I prefer the old forum where all swear words were changed to "budgie", those were the days...
eurosaint Posted 27 October, 2011 Posted 27 October, 2011 A Saint Amongst Them: Middlesbrough http://wp.me/p1mFFL-cJ It's bloody annoying to try and read your article with that flashing advert saying "congratulations, you are our millionth visitor" ! It's also a con so doesn't do much for your online kudos ! IMHO of course, no personal offence intended !
doddisalegend Posted 27 October, 2011 Posted 27 October, 2011 Boro fans seem cofident I particulary like this well informed poster "Southampton are a two man team, Lallana and Lambert, if we can keep those two quiet, we have a good chance, we need to take advantage of Fonte's temperament and Kelvin Davis has looked dodgy at times this season. still they are a good team, but lack a good squad. they dont have much (outside of that De Ridder) off the bench." http://www.oneboro.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?tid=2893 Is going to be tough high scoring footballing tem vs low scoring very good defensive team. To close to call probably a 0-0 bore draw.
Window Cleaner Posted 27 October, 2011 Posted 27 October, 2011 Agree that it's somewhat of a dilema.....but....If we're gonna give youngsters a chance in League Cup games then there ought to be a reward at the end of it otheriwse why bother? Either Ward-Prowse is good enough to compete for a first team place or he's not, regardless of who's in the queue before him. To flip the question on it's head.....who would we be leaving out of the match-day squad if Chamberlain had stayed in the summer....? It's all relative.... We wouldn't have bought De Ridder if Chamberlain was still here, trouble is we've replaced a sure fire starter with another "impact player".

If you hadn't of noticed there aren't many players of AOCs abilities knocking around who want to play in the 2nd tier of English football.
sambosa75 Posted 27 October, 2011 Posted 27 October, 2011 Massive game. We will win however. 2-0. Boring first half, no goals and scrappy. Break the deadlock around 70 mins and then pick them off on the break to settle it. Connolly is due one so I'll say him and Rickie to score.
Window Cleaner Posted 27 October, 2011 Posted 27 October, 2011 If you hadn't of noticed there aren't many players of AOCs abilities knocking around who want to play in the 2nd tier of English football. Of course not but I'm sure that we could have obtained another first team striker though. We seemed to set the bar a bit high...which is good but not if you don't clear it in any of your three tries(using a high jump or pole vault analogy)
View From The Top Posted 27 October, 2011 Posted 27 October, 2011 Of course not but I'm sure that we could have obtained another first team striker though. It's not as if we didn't try. Stick your house on one joining in Jan'.
suewhistle Posted 27 October, 2011 Posted 27 October, 2011 I'm not sure how I can explain to my Italian students the different nuances of the use of cock as against pr!ck. The literal Italian version is cazzo. All I can say is that I hope I don't have to use any of them whilst listening to the game...
Ziggy Posted 27 October, 2011 Posted 27 October, 2011 I can't wait. I can remember a couple of significant games against them over the years. The first was about 15 years ago when we had the mighty Gordon Watson and Neil Shipperley up front and Boro turned up with a load of expensive stars including Ravonelli. I think we won 4-0. The other was our last year in the Prem when we were 2 up going into injury time and they scored 2. I knew we were going down after that result. We can win this on Sat. I'm bringing 1 extra to the game to ratch up the noise!
supersonic Posted 27 October, 2011 Posted 27 October, 2011 (edited) I really hope we beat them on Saturday. I hate them with a passion, despite never actually going anywhere near the place. 2-0 Saints win for me. Guly and Connolly (at last). let's make it 18.. Edited 27 October, 2011 by supersonic

They've been a bit of a bogey team to us since, especially that 2-2 draw, 'Arry's first game in charge. How he managed to turn things round, for the first89 minutes. So either we are due to beat the f^ckers or the bogey continues, depending if you are a glass half full or empty sort of person. As for the swear filter, its a good job its 'Boro not S****horpe as the cocks won't allow that word still.
trousers Posted 27 October, 2011 Posted 27 October, 2011 Probability dictates that we will eventually lose a game at home. I fear probability may well strike this weekend.

We seemed to set the bar a bit high...which is good but not if you don't clear it in any of your three tries(using a high jump or pole vault analogy) I think the bar was set at maintaining our status in the NPC this season. This i think we will achieve, nothing more and nothing less and fair reward for a summer of modest investment.
ottery st mary Posted 27 October, 2011 Posted 27 October, 2011 (edited) We will win 3-0 this Saturday...... If we do not the side and the Management and coaching staff will get a piece of my mind.... I am slipping down the prediction league FFS PS Not my fault that I can only put Saints down for 3-0 4-0 or the like results.....More effort required Saints... doddisalegend Posted 27 October, 2011 Posted 27 October, 2011 Probability dictates that we will eventually lose a game at home. I fear probability may well strike this weekend. I think we've only got to win another 9 games to beat the all time record of 25 home wins on the trot set in some Northern hellhole beginning with a B (Barnsley? Burnley?). Another good reason to get knocked out of the CC don't want some PL team coming here and ruinning our record breaking attempt.
doddisalegend Posted 27 October, 2011 Posted 27 October, 2011 (edited) Where does 2 man team and lack a good squad come from? I don't believe they've studied us that hard, sounds very dismissive and pretty inaccurate to any that have watched us over the last year. We're very much a team and full of good players. The squad is very strong at the moment. I really hope we can show them that but fear this is the game we'll get caught out in anyway. Would take 4 points from these 2 home games anyway, it's always extremely tough having 2 games you're expected to win in just a few days. It's football forums a lot of fans only have a limited knowledge of the opposition (I'll include myself in that at times) West ham fans were the same.... General consesus on some other club boards is we have some how fluked our way to the top, have a paper thin squad, relay on Lambert for goals and will fall to the bottom of the table like a rock as soon as the "promtion effect" wears off. CWD Posted 27 October, 2011 Posted 27 October, 2011 (edited) Davis Richardson - Fonte - Hooiveld - Fox Chaplow - Hammond - Cork - Lallana Lambert - Guly Bart, Martin, Schneiderlin, SDR, Connolly One of the posters on that Boro forum says there'll be streams available for the game. Window Cleaner Posted 27 October, 2011 Posted 27 October, 2011 Saints win - easy. Depends entirely on who we put onto the field. Not overly confident myself, goalscoring has become a problem of late.Don't think our front 2 have scored in about 4/5 games have they?

Not to be a downer but i've also felt a little like this recently. We're relying an awful lot on lambert and lallana and our squad does feel a little thin.

Having shunned the delights of a long weekend in Bali while Future Mrs D_P works buying up the Island for her shop, I was already to get back from a freebie Corp Golf day today & book a flight back for 2mro & do Boro & maybe Posh. And I can't. I HAVE to stay here and sign some papers for work ARRRRGGGHHHH That gives me ONE window of an overnight flight Sat morning, Will it have airmiles seats available? Arrrgghh Oh guess who won the Golf tournament? Must screw my knee up & have surgery more often!

TBH we have been like that since about January 2010 Let's face it we are short of 2 players at the moment - a fit Jaidi and a fit Barnard would fill the gap until January
