KelvinsRightGlove Posted 17 November, 2014 Share Posted 17 November, 2014 You can play the game as a first person shooter. Better graphics. More music. Online heists are finally launching. There's some more (minor) additional content too. But yeah, you've got the most of it.
pap Posted 21 November, 2014 Share Posted 21 November, 2014 Picked this up and had a blast last night, despite owning the PS3 version. Looks great at 1080p. Here are a list of the changes and additions. http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/52337/details-on-exclusive-content-for-returning-gtav-players-on
Lorne Malvo Posted 21 November, 2014 Share Posted 21 November, 2014 Saw the funniest thing on this, Ambulance turns up to fix up someone I had run over. As the paramedic comes running over a car hits him, his paramedic mate loses it, pulls the guy out the car and starts stamping on his head professional! pap Posted 6 January, 2015 Share Posted 6 January, 2015 (edited) I played GTA Online loads over the New Years period, including a memorable all-nighter tearing up Los Santos with my baby bro. Excellent fun, particularly if you are bombing about in a group. One slight písser is the slow drip of cash. It is difficult to make money, especially as you spend a lot of time replacing all the ammo you spent. The other písser is loading times, which border on horrendous at times. On the specific issue of FP, I rarely use it although people do set up jobs where that perspective is forced. I haven't bothered mucking about with the controls and making them COD-like, but tbh, far easier to go third person and just get the auto-aim to do the work. The in-car views look great. Motorbikes are suitably terrifying. Edited 7 January, 2015 by pap
KelvinsRightGlove Posted 7 January, 2015 Share Posted 7 January, 2015 Interesting, ta. Not sure if I'll bother tbh. Still havn't finished the 360 version. Been distracted with LBP3 & Last of Us since I got the PS4. Really liking both of those.

Bought on release day then barely touched it for a year. Should get it finished, but Last of Us is just too engrossing.
bornfree Posted 10 February, 2015 Share Posted 10 February, 2015 Just thought I'd add my thoughts on this........... Greatest..........game.............ever!!!! Played it non stop for the first 2 days after I got it and although there are certain games I've spent more of my life playing (FM!!!) I can honestly say none have been anywhere near as fun and engrossing as this.

GTA V has inherited it. I finished the story mode on the PS3, and mostly do online stuff on the PS4 version, which while still very much in its infancy, is a compelling experience, especially if you're rolling with a couple of pals. Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying it's the best thing ever on every level, but the scope is so admirable and the missions are top notch.
Clunge Posted 12 March, 2015 Share Posted 12 March, 2015 Anyone played Heists? I had GTA V for 360 but haven't bothered getting it for Xbox One, do plan to get it though because it was brilliant game to play and I'd happily complete it again. Owned it a year and a half now and still not completed it. Don't think I've even touched it for about 6 months.

Saint Charlie Posted 2 November, 2015 Share Posted 2 November, 2015 Is GTA V miles better on PS4 than 3? As in worth buying and playing again?
norwaysaint Posted 2 November, 2015 Share Posted 2 November, 2015 I picked up GTA V (PS3) around last Christmas and have only played it about three times, before getting bored of it. It's probably an age thing, I was utterly absorbed by San Andreas, but this just did nothing for me.
stthrobber Posted 3 November, 2015 Share Posted 3 November, 2015 I got bored with it too. After all the hype I was disappointed with GTA5. It started off well enough, maybe it was the time taken driving to missions, but I didn't get hooked on it either on the Xbox 360 or the PS4. skintsaint Posted 5 November, 2015 Share Posted 5 November, 2015 Yeah I don't play offline too much, do run about online for an hour or so ever other week. Still good value.
CylonKing Posted 11 November, 2015 Share Posted 11 November, 2015 I bought this ages ago, played it once last year at a friends house but have been playing Skyrym, Crysis and The Walking Dead games over the last few months, saving it for this coming weekend when my wife is away. Really excited about playing this when I've got a number of days to fully get into the game and progress through. Remember playing last year and loving it so I'm hopeful this weekend is going to be a fun one.
