Window Cleaner Posted 24 October, 2011 Posted 24 October, 2011 told you so. Good players, bad management.Recurring theme with Sven.
S-Clarke Posted 24 October, 2011 Posted 24 October, 2011 To be fair they haven't been doing too badly apart from the stinker this weekend, if the owners think that buying lots of players immediately equals good consistent results then they're clueless, and I fear for Leicester if they're this trigger happy.
Thedelldays Posted 24 October, 2011 Posted 24 October, 2011 christ...could see that coming the players started to play up against him rumours were that neil dans stormed off before the game saturday... martin o'neil I reckon

I said he'd be sacked when I saw their score on Saturday and I wasn't wrong. Football club investors have no time for failure these days, other sides are doing better for far less and that is a direct reflection on the manager's performance. Perhaps Sven doesn't have the grasp of sports science needed nowadays, perhaps he just signed garbage because the Sun and the Mirror said they were good, like taking Theo to the WC in 2006.
Jimmy_D Posted 24 October, 2011 Posted 24 October, 2011 Wonder what the odds are on him managing Pompey now?
Window Cleaner Posted 24 October, 2011 Author Posted 24 October, 2011 christ...could see that coming the players started to play up against him rumours were that neil dans stormed off before the game saturday... martin o'neil I reckon Neil Danns isn't all that good.
SuperSAINT Posted 24 October, 2011 Posted 24 October, 2011 martin o'neil I reckon 1st person I thought of, DD. Certainly no shortage of managers out of work at the moment.
Saintandy666 Posted 24 October, 2011 Posted 24 October, 2011 Bit of a silly decision. You need to give managers time.
Micky Posted 24 October, 2011 Posted 24 October, 2011 Bit of a silly decision. You need to give managers time. Not stricly true, they need time & they need money - Sven took lots of money, therefore he never got the time.
SaintRobbie Posted 24 October, 2011 Posted 24 October, 2011 Oh dear. Another resurgent team potentially awaits! …. or maybe they'll just turn crap again!
EBS1980 Posted 24 October, 2011 Posted 24 October, 2011 don't rate Sven as a manager anyway. Just goes to clubs where he gets paid a fortune and gets a fortune to spend. Probably end up at Blackburn when Kean gets sacked.
Jonnyboy Posted 24 October, 2011 Posted 24 October, 2011 Which player's wife was he ****ging? Jose Fonte's
JackFrost Posted 24 October, 2011 Posted 24 October, 2011 Wonder what the odds are on him managing Pompey now? That would be funny as hell. Perfect for them, a vastly overrated manager who would demand a big pay packet. You could just see the Russians falling for him
skintsaint Posted 25 October, 2011 Posted 25 October, 2011 always knew he wouldnt last till xmas. He really is a ****e manager these days living off past glorys in Serie A. Can't see him managing in England again.....unless Pompey are silly enough to appoint him.
Window Cleaner Posted 25 October, 2011 Author Posted 25 October, 2011 Interesting to note that he did better last season with the players he inherited than his start this season with all the signings thathe made.
