ericofarabia Posted 24 October, 2011 Share Posted 24 October, 2011 Love this phrase from Nige - not 2nd rate substitutes warming their ar5es on the bench - but players with the ability to change things around if a change of direction is needed. Stattos out there I'd love to know (and way to lazy to do it myself!!) just how many of his impact changes have scored after coming on - it seems like a bloody lot to me, or maybe it just gets hyped up? SDR already a couple of times this season, Lala in LC and of course the magnificent input from Forte V Francaise last year quickly spring to my addled mind, but it seems nearly every week they have made a difference. Compare that with the distinct lack of willingness to change things around by previous managers. Discuss etc.

Gone are the days when the sub. comes on to make up the numbers, but can actually become a match-winner.
