Window Cleaner Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 ....and injured in both legs. Tackled by Killer? Tahar no doubt.
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 20 October, 2011 Author Posted 20 October, 2011 Lol. Now reports that he is dead and the rebels have his body. Nothing confirmed as yet though.
scotty Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 Yep, BBC now reporting he's died from his injuries.
Colinjb Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 Surprised he hadn't fled the country. At least he showed a little honour by staying.... just a little.
Saint_clark Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 Sounds like he was executed on the spot to me.
Colinjb Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 Sounds like he was executed on the spot to me. A young, adrenaline fueled freedom fighter happens upon the general he has been rebelling against. He has lost friends, relatives in the struggle against this guy, he hates him and finds himself facing the guy whilst holding his rifle. He is not going to shout for him to get on the floor and surrender, his first instinct will be to fill him with lead.

Guest Dark Sotonic Mills Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 NY Times reporting him dead as well. Sounds a bit like the action to "capture" Usama Bin Laden.
Gingeletiss Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 He claims to have roamed the streets, saw horribly disfigured people, ransacked houses and shops, sh1te and rats everywhere. This has raised fears, that he is in Portsmouth!
Colinjb Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 (edited) I didn't say it was a bad thing. Providing he doesn't becoming a martyr, it certainly won't be. RIP Col. Hang on..... Edited 20 October, 2011 by Colinjb
dune Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 I would if his capturers had their wits about them to rifle his pockets for his bag of snow.
Window Cleaner Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 Can't see that it will make much difference, one despot will be instantly replaced by other despots. Move on
Monk Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 His face looks like a mask from 'Bo Selecta'. torarrr Gaddafiii
rallyboy Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 it's disgraceful, he was on the legal bit of Dale Farm when they tasered him - and other than financing world terrorism and murdering his own people while personally pocketing millions of dollars of oil revenue, what did he ever do wrong? Dune me old mucker, I think your over-trolling is getting you politically confused - you will struggle to support Mrs Thatch and the main financial backer of the IRA at the same time. Try a more subtle one and see who bites.
Gingeletiss Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 Looks like it was NATO aircraft that got him!
Colinjb Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 People in Sirte are parading a 'Golden Gun' as a trophy. What a bling t*sser.
keithd Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 People in Sirte are parading a 'Golden Gun' as a trophy. What a bling t*sser. Does it come with a license to kill?
K,Billy's supersound Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 another dictator found in a hole begging for his life ****ing his pants good riddance
OldNick Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 NY Times reporting him dead as well. Sounds a bit like the action to "capture" Usama Bin Laden. He doesn't look well
Saintandy666 Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 A sad day. RIP Col. This guy perpetrated terrorist attacks on UK soil(as well as funding the IRA)?! And you say RIP... are you trolling? I think you are.
Saint_Jonny Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 He doesn't look well Look at him in that picture, most of his life he lived the life of luxury, lived the life of a king. And this is how he met his end, crazy world we live in!

Andy - just an observation but you seem to be on a crusade to bite on every piece of bait that Dune sets down for you. As I say, just an observation.
supersonic Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 The video. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/video/2011/oct/20/unverified-footage-gaddafi-body-video
1976_Child Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 (edited) Ok so he is dead. Let's not all wallow in this fact. It is not nice. He was still a human being, however unpleasant. Yeah, now all the die-hard capital punishment eye-for-an-eye brigade are going to slag me off and call me a soft wet. Couldn't care less. He is dead. Don't gloat, move on. Not nice to gloat. Be magnanimous in victory. Dune's probably just creamed his Y-Fronts. Edited 20 October, 2011 by 1976_Child
aintforever Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 Fitting end, bet the Syrian leader doesn't sleep well tonight.
Window Cleaner Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 Fitting end, bet the Syrian leader doesn't sleep well tonight. He'll not worry unless NATO decide to go and rough him up a bit and that won't happen at any time in the near future.
1976_Child Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 He'll not worry unless NATO decide to go and rough him up a bit and that won't happen at any time in the near future. tiny, tiny, tiny amount of oil. Not worth it
Window Cleaner Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 tiny, tiny, tiny amount of oil. Not worth it There's that and the fact that the Syrians have something resembling an air defence system.
1976_Child Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 There's that and the fact that the Syrians have something resembling an air defence system. and are best mates with Iran and share a border with Israel.
Window Cleaner Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 and are best mates with Iran and share a border with Israel. No-one really knows how much crap from Irak found it's way into Syria before the fall of Saddam and it's not easy to find out.
andysstuff Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 (edited) He referred to the rebels over and over again as Rats, and was found like a rat in a sewer. Gotta love the poetic justice there. Edited 20 October, 2011 by andysstuff typo
scotty Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 Its his own fault. Anyone who has his pubes transplanted onto his head deserves everything he gets.

scotty Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 Rooney next? Theres a joke on the cr*p joke thread about that;)
Liquidshokk Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 Plenty of others on YouTube too. Hard for anyone to not believe he's dead. What will the people who love a conspiracy do?
Guest Dark Sotonic Mills Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 Bunch of savages. Even Saddam got a trial.
EastleighSoulBoy Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 Bunch of savages. Even Saddam got a trial. Saddam was captured by U.S. Troops. There wasn't realistically any hope for Gaddafi if captured by rebel forces.
St Marco Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 That is pretty sick to be honest. While i don't agree with what he has done, you can't treat someone like that and expect to be praised. The guy should of gone to jail, had his trial and then spent the rest of his days in prison or hung. That is what democracy is about. They are just a bunch of thugs roaming around with guns given to them by the west. In the next few months you watch them fall into civil war when they can't agree on who is running the country. Bunch of savages as someone else said.
hamster Posted 20 October, 2011 Posted 20 October, 2011 it's primal, not necessarily excusable but us humans we can never say that we wouldn't act in the same way. We like to think we are different but we will hopefully never actually find out.

I think that in these situations emotions run high and while I can't condone that video and would rather he was arrested and put on trial, I haven't lived under his vicious dictatorship and all the effects that brings to me, my friends, my family and my life. And I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss them, let's give them a chance to do what they want.
