saintoli Posted 19 October, 2011 Posted 19 October, 2011 Silly question, but if someone could help i would be grateful. Does the club have an email adress? I want to have a little 'moan' about something, but not to sure how to get in contact with the club. Cheers.
The9 Posted 19 October, 2011 Posted 19 October, 2011 I wouldn't bother if I was you, they haven't replied to any emails in years, have they ?
1976_Child Posted 19 October, 2011 Posted 19 October, 2011 what do you want to moan about? do spill the beans
saintoli Posted 19 October, 2011 Author Posted 19 October, 2011 what do you want to moan about? do spill the beans TBH The9, i wasn't expecting a reply from the club, i just hoped someone might see sense in what i was saying! Wishfull thinking though.... Nothing too drastic 1976 child, just wanted to have a moan about playing music when we score. I surely can't be the only the person to think this? I just fail to see why it is needed. Do the club think we can't make enough noise? Makes us look two bob in my opinion.
Stu Man Do Posted 19 October, 2011 Posted 19 October, 2011 To be fair I rarely hear the goal music until celebrations have died down anyway perhaps you need to celebrate more to drown it out? ;-)

Wrote a lengthy diatribe about it undermining the genuine atmosphere, etc. and asking if the club could reconsider. I sent it the day before we went into Administration.
1976_Child Posted 19 October, 2011 Posted 19 October, 2011 I didn't even realise there is music after a goal. What is it?
Saint_Jonny Posted 19 October, 2011 Posted 19 October, 2011 I only notice the goal music when I'm not at the game, or hear it on the highlights. If i'm at SMS I'm usually going to mental to hear anything.
The9 Posted 19 October, 2011 Posted 19 October, 2011 To be fair I rarely hear the goal music until celebrations have died down anyway perhaps you need to celebrate more to drown it out? ;-) Weirdly yesterday was the first time I've actually heard the music in ages, and it was also one of the loudest goal-roars for a while too due to the extra numbers. I also went a bit fuzzy and things went kinda blurry and slo-mo for a second, which is usually a sign of over-excitement.
The9 Posted 19 October, 2011 Posted 19 October, 2011 I didn't even realise there is music after a goal. What is it? Song 2 by Blur apparently, we've never scored a crap enough goal for me to know for sure. We do play "Unbelievable" by EMF after a win though, which is equally as pointless.

Hamilton Saint Posted 19 October, 2011 Posted 19 October, 2011 Here's the "Contact Us" link with address, phone numbers, and email addresses. Not sure which department you should try - none of the ones listed seem quite right. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/ContactUs/0,,10280,00.html
saintoli Posted 19 October, 2011 Author Posted 19 October, 2011 Might of been where i was sat last night ( second row, block 40) but it did seem loud! The song was being nicely drowned out tbf, but thats beside the point. Makes me cringe when i think about it.
Golden Balls Posted 19 October, 2011 Posted 19 October, 2011 We've had many threads on the subject. Goal music is sh1t!!
LGTL Posted 19 October, 2011 Posted 19 October, 2011 I can't believe any of you notice it, can't be celebrating hard enough!
krissyboy31 Posted 19 October, 2011 Posted 19 October, 2011 I can't believe any of you notice it, can't be celebrating hard enough! Agreed! And surely it's a good thing, in as much that it means we are scoring goals. Rather have multiple goal music than no goals.
hamster Posted 19 October, 2011 Posted 19 October, 2011 People near to wheer I sat last night were joining in the 'Woohoo' bit. Horses for courses I guess.
