1976_Child Posted 28 October, 2008 Posted 28 October, 2008 I wasn't going to go to tonight's game as it is a **** of a two hour trip from Brighton but given the circumstances I think our Boys need as mush support as they can get. I'll need to stay over in the Mother Country (so to speak) so does anyone know a good cheap hotel with internet in the rooms? (sorry for posting on the main board but I need to find out soon before I leave) cheers

Thanks, I just tried to book and they are full. I guess it is the Hilton then at £105. Ah well, I'll let my accountant know this one is a business trip..
Junior Mullet Posted 28 October, 2008 Posted 28 October, 2008 There's one on the corner of Lodge Road and a handful down Town Quay near the station. All fairly cheap.
bungle Posted 28 October, 2008 Posted 28 October, 2008 Premier Inn near ground and also Jury's Inn. Not sure on costs, but must be cheaper than Hilton if available.
Melbourne Saint Posted 28 October, 2008 Posted 28 October, 2008 I'm staying at Argyle Lodge in Shirley which cost me £38. Booked it on lastminute.com if that helps.
Big Bad Bob Posted 28 October, 2008 Posted 28 October, 2008 Premier Inn near ground and also Jury's Inn. Not sure on costs, but must be cheaper than Hilton if available. Premier Inn near ground does have rooms, but it's £67 a night, cheaper than the Hilton though and nearer the ground

1976_Child Posted 28 October, 2008 Author Posted 28 October, 2008 Spare room at mine if you're female. no. I'm a bloke. But I've lived in Brighton for long enough now to do a half decent gay impression if that's your thing.
Saints67 Posted 28 October, 2008 Posted 28 October, 2008 http://www.banisterhouse.co.uk/ This is where I stay when overnighting after a game. Bit 'bizarre' shower wise (you'll know when you see them) but friendly and welcoming.
knellster Posted 28 October, 2008 Posted 28 October, 2008 There's also the Elizabeth House Hotel on the Avenue. I've stayed there several times, and the breakfast is great.
