1976_Child Posted 14 October, 2011 Posted 14 October, 2011 (edited) Do the academy players get to watch home games at SMS for free? Are they encouraged to and if so do they have reserved seating? Anyone know? (and if they do get to come for free, do they have to pay to lock their bikes up outside the stadium..?) Edited 14 October, 2011 by 1976_Child
sambosa75 Posted 14 October, 2011 Posted 14 October, 2011 Yes they get tickets free for them and their parents.

beancounter saint Posted 14 October, 2011 Posted 14 October, 2011 Often see lads who look like Academy types heading up towards the back of Block 5
JackanorySFC Posted 14 October, 2011 Posted 14 October, 2011 Interesting if this i the case? Only say that as they are based in digs and on rubbish money aren't they? If so I might head up to Hill Lane and start offering them £10 - £50 for their Pompey home tickets if things get a bit tight in April re' tickets. Anyway, must dash, the tradesman doing Friday "job n knock" are turning up to the boozer and distracting the all day every day degenerates that are my ticket mules for Skates away in December - another round of house vodka coming up....
ottery st mary Posted 14 October, 2011 Posted 14 October, 2011 Some even leave their skateboards behind reception desk whilst they watch the mighty Saints....
david in sweden Posted 14 October, 2011 Posted 14 October, 2011 Some even leave their skateboards behind reception desk whilst they watch the mighty Saints.... .......along with their I-PODs and computer games.

It is the case. My nephew is in the academy and I have benefitted from taking him on a number of occasions the past 3 or 4 years.
