1976_Child Posted 14 October, 2011 Share Posted 14 October, 2011 ...Which of you Benson & Hedges is going to Derby? I bet Dune is too busy attending some far-right rally or sucking on a Thatcher poster to care, Ohio Saint is too busy pretending to be American and secretly wishing he was an ear of maize, Dubai Phil is waaay too busy counting the cash he earns whilst eating sand, and Trousers is tied up being pants... .... but apart from them, which of you is going to Derby? Hamilton Saint Posted 14 October, 2011 Share Posted 14 October, 2011 I'm not going there, either; but, my mother was born there in 1920 and grew up in the city during the 1930s. She was a bus-conductor in Derby during the war. So, I have a soft spot for them - even though I want us to thrash them on Saturday. COYS!
saints-cris Posted 14 October, 2011 Share Posted 14 October, 2011 Not going to derby, but going to the West Ham and Reading game. Can't bloody wait. Will be lucky to keep up to date with the Derby game as I'm working a 12 hour shift that day !

Ah memories. I remember the days when I had cash... BD I think it was (before divorce) I also fondly remember Derby Away - was back for the Chris Marsden Day and went up on the train with London Saints... Oh how we laughed, apparently. All I remember was going into the micro-brewery by the station before the game, wearing a condom on my head and being told we'd lost the next morning when I remarkably awoke back in my hotel suite (yeah right 40 quid Paddington B&B) on Sunday morning Damn I wish I was going. Oh no I don't actually. all my old mates in town for a trade show this week so having an early birthday party at Karaoke tonight with Bullfrogs and YIPPEE no Eric for a change. Think The Buggles may get reunited on stage tonight - Karaoke Classic Oh no that means hung over still for the game tomorrow. What we don't want to do is listen to DM with a hang-over
