Liquidshokk Posted 13 October, 2011 Share Posted 13 October, 2011 My flat has been covered in thousands of them on a couple of occasions. These days I hate the things despite being fascinated by them as a kid. When you see that many crawling over your windows it sends a shiver down your spine. Have seen every colour combination going including the bright orange splatter of them squashed inside door and window frames. The little blighters even manage to get inside the window frame by pushing under the rubber around the edges! Found myself searching online the other day for ladybird killer... Who'da thought it... Crazy Diamond Posted 13 October, 2011 Share Posted 13 October, 2011 Could be worse. I look out my window each day and see about 10 - 15 wasps flying around. There's a nest somewhere nearby.
holepuncture Posted 13 October, 2011 Share Posted 13 October, 2011 Have seen every colour combination going Found myself searching online the other day for ladybird killer... Who'da thought it... Why has nobody spoken the truth on this matter? The fact is that Labours open door immigration policy, replicated by the insect immigrant movement, has seen our country flooded with Asian and African Ladybirds, is the reason for it. If you see any 'black or brown' ladybirds from Africa/Asia I believe you are duty bound to incinerate them - as like c*ck roaches, if you crush 'em they will spread eggs http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/3808049/Cannibal-ladybird-invasion-hits-UK.html http://www.ladybird-survey.org/harlequin.aspx
Liquidshokk Posted 13 October, 2011 Share Posted 13 October, 2011 I am being invaded by them now never seen so many. Help !! It happens when there's a drastic change in temperatures. I remember sitting in my lounge one summers day with balcony door open and the weather instantly turned bad and before I knew it hundreds of them were coming in my flat! Crawling over the ceiling and looked like mini cockroaches.... *shudder* These days I have no problem with massacring them by sweeping them out from the inside of my window frames... My dad hates it when I do as he thinks it's great that there's so many about...

Dog Posted 13 October, 2011 Share Posted 13 October, 2011 Ladybird blood tastes rank, does the African Ladybird taste the same I wonder?
doddisalegend Posted 13 October, 2011 Share Posted 13 October, 2011 In wintertime ladybirds hibernate, often in large groups sometimes numbering thousands. They're looking for somewhere to sleep for the winter they like nice warm houses...
