Saints Player on Android?

It should do, if your Android phone has Flash.

Alternatively you can download the Football League app and choose Southampton when you first load it up. That pulls all of the news from the OS and lets you see the Player videos, albeit you have to pay a subscription even if you have a player one. Think it worked out as something like £13.99 for a year to get the videos through the app.

Having trouble listening to the commentary on my HTC Explorer. I've downloaded Flash player, and i can log in to Saints player and watch the videos all day long. But when i click the 'listen live' tab, it takes me to the page, but on the left where it would normally allow you to select which commentary to listen too (saints or the oppo's), i can just see the two circles were i'd select commentary, but i cant select, nor does it say the team names. Anyone else had this issue? How do i fix it?

Its ridiculous with Apple Devices as prevalent as they are that the company who provide Saints, and so many other websites, don't offer a non-flash alternative for the webplayers.

Not specific to their company I realise, its a general problem that companies are still using Flash

never mind Apple devices will soon be obsolete now that Nokia has patented vibrating tattoos that are supposed to give you a bit of the twitches when your phone rings. My my what did we do before all of these "inventions".

Why should they ? Flash works perfectly well on every other make of Smartphone, it doesn't work on yours because the designer was a cock. Works fine on my Galaxy 1.

When your contract's up, get a proper phone.

Sorry, couldn't resist :)

Just tried it on my Samsung Galaxy S2 and it does work well - great quality!

As COMEONYOUREDS says it is a little tricky logging in.

Thank god for that. Picking up my S2 tomorrow. Would have been gutted if SP didn't work on it. It will save me lugging the laptop into the kitchen for my very regular cooking dinner/Saints match situations.

heh heh, cheeky git.

I'd normally agree. Apple processors can't support flash and its ridiculous. And Adobe shouldn't change Flash to suit them. But Apple sold something like 15.6 Million ipads in the last quarter alone. With those kind of numbers, web designers should provide a non flash option on all sites.

I have the same issue on my S2. What I do is after signing in click the very bottom right to put it into accessible view. This will give you just a list of links, click match commentary and when you get a empty looking box with an arrow in it at the top click this then the commentary loads fine.

Apologies for the bump, but I've just received a marketing email stating that they (Club Player) are offering 20% off an annual Saintsplayer subscription (£30 instead of £36). Could anybody with a Samsung S3 confirm it works on their device? I'm presuming as it works on the S2 it should be ok but thought I'd double check...
