Thedelldays Posted 5 October, 2011 Posted 5 October, 2011 kick off 1245 on 10th Dec then we are on telly the week after against the ****s
Saint_Jonny Posted 5 October, 2011 Posted 5 October, 2011 If we continue to top the table sky will become more and more interested.
CFSFC Posted 5 October, 2011 Posted 5 October, 2011 We will play them in an evening game if there pitch can't handle the late December freeze - very likely indeed.
Sour Mash Posted 5 October, 2011 Posted 5 October, 2011 Can see why Sky chose this, as Blackpool are starting to look good, got the makings of a cracking game. Also, I am sure I am looking into this too much already, but won't do us any harm getting used to games kicking off early, keeping in mind how big the fixture the week after is!
Bailey Posted 5 October, 2011 Posted 5 October, 2011 No doubt Kevin Phillips is looking forward to this one . . .
doddisalegend Posted 5 October, 2011 Posted 5 October, 2011 oh FFS call me traditional but football is supposed to kick off at 3pm on a saturday. Now I'll have to re-arrange a load of stuff.
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 5 October, 2011 Posted 5 October, 2011 They just want to see Holloway getting p*ssed off at our chants again.
doddisalegend Posted 5 October, 2011 Posted 5 October, 2011 They just want to see Holloway getting p*ssed off at our chants again. To right I hope we give him loads of stick and give Blackpool a lesson in football. No doubt Kevin Phillips will score against us though.......bastard.

doddisalegend Posted 5 October, 2011 Posted 5 October, 2011 You'll be hoping we don't get promoted then! yeah football at skys convience will be very annoying...............
doddisalegend Posted 5 October, 2011 Posted 5 October, 2011 He Wont be in the team. ??? why do you say that?
CFSFC Posted 5 October, 2011 Posted 5 October, 2011 ??? why do you say that? Not playing well, not scored in a while. Bogdanavic, omerod, and that poof who took on his wifes name in a double barrelled effort Taylor fletcher all scoring at the weekend.

Forgot about Bret....he never looked remotely like scoring when he came here in the FA cup, much like most of his saints carerer, still a legend though.
VectisSaint Posted 5 October, 2011 Posted 5 October, 2011 kick off 1245 on 10th Dec then we are on telly the week after against the ****s ********, doing this in Hospitality for my cousin coming over from Oz, now that fecks up the day, due to early start. Will also spoil the atmosphere because there will be less people at the game. Why can't Sky just feck off and leave football alone?

CWD Posted 5 October, 2011 Posted 5 October, 2011 Great news, will mean I get to watch it. A lone Saint cheering loudly in a quiet Canterbury pub full of Chelsea and Man Utd fans....

Saint_lambden Posted 5 October, 2011 Posted 5 October, 2011 Holloway gets his 'you're having a laugh' in his face even earlier then - great!
sidthesquid Posted 5 October, 2011 Posted 5 October, 2011 I HATE SKY. Messes up all my plans at best, fail to make my first home game in three years at worst. All for a few p!ssheads to have something to stare at as they start drinking their day away. I almost got to the point of giving up my ST back in the last couple of Prem seasons becaue Sky so consistently fecked up my weekend. Not happy.

And I bet you don't watch Chelsea v man utd on a sat or sun afternoon then? Can't have it both ways, I like live football.
VectisSaint Posted 5 October, 2011 Posted 5 October, 2011 its a whole 2 hours difference Actually 2 1/4 hours. So as it doesn't bother you why post, if you don't like my comment just feck off and mind your own business. For those of use who don't live in town it makes a great deal of difference.
Hedgehog Posted 5 October, 2011 Posted 5 October, 2011 Why have they now decided to do this game, was there not already a game planned for that time slot and day? Effing great for those who have already planned their day and are having to work the morning!

SNSUN Posted 5 October, 2011 Posted 5 October, 2011 Good news pour moi. I Couldn't make this game so I was going to get the day off to see it as I have a week off from the following day - but now I can arrange my shift around the kick off time, watch it on Sky, and use my precious one day off for the Brighton game in November. Well, it made sense to me.
captainchris Posted 5 October, 2011 Posted 5 October, 2011 Holloway gets his 'you're having a laugh' in his face even earlier then - great! I'm going to sing that until I'm horse - **** - what a first class number one utter idiot Holloway is............
saintstr1 Posted 5 October, 2011 Posted 5 October, 2011 For some of us that are old & disabled it is great to watch our beloved Saints on sky , Wish they showed a lot more of Saints games Live
CWD Posted 5 October, 2011 Posted 5 October, 2011 You doing the same for the reading game by chance? Yep probably will be mate. You're at Kent too aren't you? I'll probably be in the Monument, opposite St. Dunstans church. Would be good to have another saint around!

niceandfriendly Posted 6 October, 2011 Posted 6 October, 2011 Means it'll be shown over here, which is good, but can understand why it's frustrating for some of you back home.
rooney Posted 6 October, 2011 Posted 6 October, 2011 They have also got that ginger chap Crainie, who WGS brought to SMS, playing for them at left back. He is even in the Scotland Squad.

adelaide saint Posted 6 October, 2011 Posted 6 October, 2011 Absolutely ecstatic, not been able to watch Saints two weeks in succession for what feels like an eternity. 6 Points and it will feel like the Garden of Eden has been opened.
