Saint in Paradise Posted 6 May, 2014 Share Posted 6 May, 2014 Newly released CCTV footage has cast doubt on Amanda Knox's alibi on the night her roommate Meredith Kercher was stabbed to death. The clip, released by an Italian investigative television news program, shows a woman who closely resembles Knox walking through a section of Perugia on November 1, 2007 – the night Kercher was killed. Knox had claimed that she spent the night of Kercher's death at the home reading a Harry Potter book and having sex with her then-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito – who was also accused of the murder. The TV program claimed Kercher was also captured on camera as she walked past two minutes earlier. Barbie Latza Nadeau, an author who wrote a book on the case, has noted the similarities between the way Knox and the girl in the CCTV vision walk. Others have noted the similarity of her clothes with those Knox was pictured wearing in the days after the murder. It is understood that both legal teams were aware of the footage but decided against using it during the trial. Wonder why ???
hutch Posted 6 May, 2014 Share Posted 6 May, 2014 Probably because some cctv footage of a random person walking down a street at around the time of the murder doesn't really have much to do with Knox's innocence or guilt. But I'm sure it makes great tabloid tv.
Saint in Paradise Posted 6 May, 2014 Share Posted 6 May, 2014 Well if it proves she was telling porkies about her whereabouts it will have an effect
Essruu Posted 6 May, 2014 Share Posted 6 May, 2014 I hope it's never proved one way or the other whether she actually did kill or not; the not knowing just makes her even sexier.
buctootim Posted 6 May, 2014 Share Posted 6 May, 2014 Same coat and walk apparently.
hutch Posted 6 May, 2014 Share Posted 6 May, 2014 Same and similar are different words with different meanings. But you can be damned sure that if it could be shown to be her without reasonable doubt it would have been in front of the judge. Oh and have one of these too
