Saint Without a Halo Posted 2 October, 2011 Share Posted 2 October, 2011 As well as the 13 point gap they currently have significantly less than half our points i.e 9 to22 Looking forward to seeing their league position once birmingham and noffs forest catch up on their games in hand. PaulSaint Posted 2 October, 2011 Share Posted 2 October, 2011 Can't you post the attendance figures for those matches too just to rub it in i.e. this week I believe it was around 2:1 in our favor. Bestest fans my ar$e!

derry Posted 2 October, 2011 Share Posted 2 October, 2011 Pride before the fall! It would be better to leave threads like this until the season is over, it's just tempting fate. Last season at this time Portsmouth and Bournemouth were doing the same thing look what's happened since.
stug76 Posted 2 October, 2011 Author Share Posted 2 October, 2011 Sorry Derry, couldn't disagree more! It's banter, it's what goes on, everywhere. It's part of the fun of being a football fan, sometimes you gloat, sometimes you are gloated at(?). I think it's possible to take thing too seriously you know. niceandfriendly Posted 2 October, 2011 Share Posted 2 October, 2011 Agree derry, also being above pompey really isn't anything special, just normality restored.

dune Posted 2 October, 2011 Share Posted 2 October, 2011 Skate said: Many on here may not wish to read this. I spoke to a guy that went to the Scum match yesterday. His verdict. They move the ball crisply with purpose. Every player looks comfortable, score goals at will and look destined for greater things. Oh, and the anti Pompey chants are far superior to our bog standard stand up. I genuinely fear for us on December 17 (footie only) if that basket case of a worzel is till in charge. http://fansonline.net/portsmouth/mb/view.php?id=375142
Neil Posted 2 October, 2011 Share Posted 2 October, 2011 Praying that Cotterill stays there (don't get rid of him just before Dec 18!). He is fast becoming a Saints legend, and his excuse list is phenomenal. They were tired after playing 3 games in 8 days, bless them.

Dark Munster Posted 18 October, 2011 Share Posted 18 October, 2011 I don't want to have to hate Dowie! He's still too good for them. Can't they appoint Sven? He'll be sacked at Leicester soon anyway. Sven is also much too good for them. Stuart Gray would be perfect for them.

Lighthouse Posted 30 October, 2011 Share Posted 30 October, 2011 and with us at home to Peterborough and Pompey away to Palace on Tuesday there's every chance the gap will get even wider very soon Just had a look through Pompey's results. They have only managed 2 points against teams in the top half this season, late equalisers against 'boro (injury time) and Cardiff. Been beaten already by Hull, Leeds, Posh, Wham, Brighton, Ipswich and Derby. Yet to play Saints Palace and Brum.

JonnyLove Posted 19 November, 2011 Share Posted 19 November, 2011 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ojomTUt0X4 I have two issues with this. 1) I don't mind the gap I laugh at it getting bigger (as in the points gap not the gap between the train and the platform edge). 2) why would anyone video the above and then post it on YouTube thinking this would of been interesting to anyone in the world ever.
