benjii Posted 1 October, 2011 Posted 1 October, 2011 Has upped his game massively this season. Fair play, keep it up lad!
S-Clarke Posted 1 October, 2011 Posted 1 October, 2011 He has been outstanding all season, best RB in the league on this form.
niceandfriendly Posted 1 October, 2011 Posted 1 October, 2011 It's hugely encouraging that our players have stepped up so well from League One to the Championship... Frazer and Hammond especially. Oh well and a certain Mr Lambert of course.
IN MY DAY Posted 1 October, 2011 Posted 1 October, 2011 totally agree, seems to have found another gear since lasy year.
sfc4prem Posted 1 October, 2011 Posted 1 October, 2011 He's upped his game massively. Always knew he had good crossing ability but he's added another dimension with his lung-bursting runs. One of the best RB's in the league atm no doubt about it.
whizzpop Posted 1 October, 2011 Posted 1 October, 2011 I remember seeing him play for Leeds a couple of years back, always thought he was a good player. I guess the injury he had pre-season last year really knocked his confidence.
H Posted 1 October, 2011 Posted 1 October, 2011 Wasn't impressed last season or this pre-season but definitely worth his place now and seems to be getting more confident each week.
Wes Tender Posted 1 October, 2011 Posted 1 October, 2011 Man of the match today for me. A strong and assured performance. He got forward really well and as for that run the full length of the pitch and that shot, had it gone in, goal of the season.
70's Mike Posted 1 October, 2011 Posted 1 October, 2011 He needs to stay fit because Cork is better in midfield than RB
beatlesaint Posted 1 October, 2011 Posted 1 October, 2011 Really very impressive and getting better each game. I think the injuries last season really set him back but this season he has shown what a fine player he is.
JoeShmoe Posted 1 October, 2011 Posted 1 October, 2011 He was outstanding today. Turning into a PL quality RB
Boris Karloff Posted 1 October, 2011 Posted 1 October, 2011 Very, very good despite the stick he's received on this board this year.
CHAPEL END CHARLIE Posted 1 October, 2011 Posted 1 October, 2011 Until quite recently I couldn't see how he was better than Butterfield in all honesty. But fair goes, he is now performing like the player we thought we'd signed last season.
sidthesquid Posted 1 October, 2011 Posted 1 October, 2011 Interesting interview on Solent - he said that basically because of his injury - dislocating his shoulder in pre-season - he never really got up to full speed last season (and he was in and out of the team a bit, too), but this season we are seeing what he is really all about. And it is good!
View From The Top Posted 1 October, 2011 Posted 1 October, 2011 On the way back up north tonight I said to Corky Morris that I must start a thread in praise of FR as I've been a critic and he's clearly playing his nuts off!
The9 Posted 1 October, 2011 Posted 1 October, 2011 Old news, spotted the improvement at the Liebherr Memorial Cup aeons ago.
Lighthouse Posted 2 October, 2011 Posted 2 October, 2011 First 3 goals all deliveries from the right today. Can't remember from who exactly, but FR definitely set up Guly's goal. Keep it up lad!
SuperMikey Posted 2 October, 2011 Posted 2 October, 2011 Wasn't too sure about him last season, but he's been quality this year. One of our best players, pushing Lambert and Lallana for our best imo.
rooney Posted 2 October, 2011 Posted 2 October, 2011 Agree, he has been superb this season. What a difference when fully fit.
Turkish Posted 2 October, 2011 Posted 2 October, 2011 Old news, spotted the improvement at the Liebherr Memorial Cup aeons ago. I spotted it in Switzerland preseason so I beat you. Turkish 1 the9 0. FACT
pap Posted 2 October, 2011 Posted 2 October, 2011 I spotted it in Switzerland preseason so I beat you. Turkish 1 the9 0. FACT I read about Frazer's improvement ten years ago on an ancient scroll in the British Museum.
cellone Posted 2 October, 2011 Posted 2 October, 2011 If someone had an elephant The9 would have a box to put it in.
Ian the Red Posted 2 October, 2011 Posted 2 October, 2011 Fantastic performances lately, if he continues could be the best right back we have had since Jason Dodd
Lighthouse Posted 2 October, 2011 Posted 2 October, 2011 Fantastic performances lately, if he continues could be the best right back we have had since Jason Dodd Well, he has got to prove himself to be better than Jermain Wright, Rory Delap, Tomasz Hajto and Lloyd James. Some world class tallent right there.
View From The Top Posted 2 October, 2011 Posted 2 October, 2011 Well, he has got to prove himself to be better than Jermain Wright, Rory Delap, Tomasz Hajto and Lloyd James. Some world class tallent right there. Ouch.
Sour Mash Posted 2 October, 2011 Posted 2 October, 2011 He's been excellent - if I'm honest, really didn't expect him to step up and be this good.
The9 Posted 2 October, 2011 Posted 2 October, 2011 I spotted it in Switzerland preseason so I beat you. Turkish 1 the9 0. FACT I know for a fact you didn't, as you were ripping the p155 out of me on here for noting Richardson's rippling muscles and slimmer build when I mentioned it.
The9 Posted 2 October, 2011 Posted 2 October, 2011 I read about Frazer's improvement ten years ago on an ancient scroll in the British Museum. I wrote it. Now does anyone want this elephant box? It's got a window, and Stereophonics told me it can also be used for flying giraffes.
pap Posted 2 October, 2011 Posted 2 October, 2011 I wrote it. Now does anyone want this elephant box? It's got a window, and Stereophonics told me it can also be used for flying giraffes. Obi Wan never told you about your father, did he The9?....
cellone Posted 2 October, 2011 Posted 2 October, 2011 Now does anyone want this elephant box? It's got a window, and Stereophonics told me it can also be used for flying giraffes. Depends if you've still got the original lid.
Mr Saints Posted 2 October, 2011 Posted 2 October, 2011 One of the stand out players so far, looks a different player from last season.
sammysaint Posted 2 October, 2011 Posted 2 October, 2011 he would not of been in leeds squad for a champions league game at 18/19 if he wasn't that good, last season Butterfield was class and you couldn't relly drop him and frazer is doing the same.
CHAZZA 92 Posted 2 October, 2011 Posted 2 October, 2011 Couldn't really expect much seeing as he didn't have a pre season last year. But looks top class this year lets hope he can keep it up because we need him big time!!
The9 Posted 3 October, 2011 Posted 3 October, 2011 he would not of been in leeds squad for a champions league game at 18/19 if he wasn't that good, last season Butterfield was class and you couldn't relly drop him and frazer is doing the same. I disagree with so much of this post it's unreal. Shall we have a little scout around the teenagers from 2000ish with Champions League experience to see which of them is utter gash 10 years later, for instance? Or watch Saints away at Leyton Orient, when Butterfield was indeed "not very good at all"? Richardson is doing well at the moment, but there's no basis for assuming that's because he was a good teenager - he was relatively cack even last season for Saints, so how does that correlate to his past "successes"?
MerceSaint28 Posted 3 October, 2011 Posted 3 October, 2011 very impressed with Frazzer this season...he really looks like he has bulked up as well so never gets muscled off the ball i would still like to sign Nathanial Clyne to provide some healthy competition and would allow us to release Butters (who has been been very good but ageing)...it's just about improvement where possible
