Saint Fan CaM Posted 28 September, 2011 Posted 28 September, 2011 Listening on-line here in Rhodes - I think we could win this after the league went with us yesterday. Come on you Saints.

Saint_clark Posted 28 September, 2011 Author Posted 28 September, 2011 Cardiff had to wait 4 minutes for their first touch

Colinjb Posted 28 September, 2011 Posted 28 September, 2011 Evenin` all How we all feeling about tonight? Confident? Cautious? Worried??? A mixture of fear/arrogance and melancholy.
Colinjb Posted 28 September, 2011 Posted 28 September, 2011 Aidy Boothroyd bit of a Saints admirer.?.? We play the kind of football he wants his teams to play..... if only he knew how.....
S-Clarke Posted 28 September, 2011 Posted 28 September, 2011 Sounds like we're retaining the ball much better than Saturday.
Saint_clark Posted 28 September, 2011 Author Posted 28 September, 2011 Chamberlain scores for Arsenal.
Dr Who? Posted 28 September, 2011 Posted 28 September, 2011 Evenin` all How we all feeling about tonight? Confident? Cautious? Worried??? They are there for the taking and have to take the chance of playing their reserves!!
1976_Child Posted 28 September, 2011 Posted 28 September, 2011 Chamberlain scores for Arsenal. Well done nipper. Good on you.
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 28 September, 2011 Posted 28 September, 2011 ONCE AGAIN, Davis plays a stupid short ball out of the box. ****ing hoof it Kelv!
Saint Fan CaM Posted 28 September, 2011 Posted 28 September, 2011 Davis playing out from the back when he shouldn't once again... sort it out!
Saint_clark Posted 28 September, 2011 Author Posted 28 September, 2011 It depresses me more seeing Chamberlain performing for Arsenal than it ever did watching Theo or Bale...
Ohio Saint Posted 28 September, 2011 Posted 28 September, 2011 Chamberlain scores for Arsenal. Good luck to the lad.
SNSUN Posted 28 September, 2011 Posted 28 September, 2011 Good enough to get a win tonight, would settle for a draw if we fight back for it, am concerned that this is one we could lose though. Quite frankly, I don't know what to think...
S-Clarke Posted 28 September, 2011 Posted 28 September, 2011 It depresses me more seeing Chamberlain performing for Arsenal than it ever did watching Theo or Bale... How come? It makes me proud tbh that we're producing players of this level.
Saint_clark Posted 28 September, 2011 Author Posted 28 September, 2011 ONCE AGAIN, Davis plays a stupid short ball out of the box. ****ing hoof it Kelv! Do you make that comment when he plays a short ball and it leads to a chance for us?
1976_Child Posted 28 September, 2011 Posted 28 September, 2011 It depresses me more seeing Chamberlain performing for Arsenal than it ever did watching Theo or Bale... don't let it. £15,000,000 That's all you need to remember..
Saint_clark Posted 28 September, 2011 Author Posted 28 September, 2011 How come? It makes me proud tbh that we're producing players of this level. I suppose it's the fact that for once (financially) we could of actually held onto one of our wonderkids.
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 28 September, 2011 Posted 28 September, 2011 Fox vs McNaughton should be interesting.
S-Clarke Posted 28 September, 2011 Posted 28 September, 2011 I suppose it's the fact that for once (financially) we could of actually held onto one of our wonderkids. I don't think we ever stood a chance once teams like Arsenal showed an interest. Playing mid-week at Cardiff or in the Champions league with Arsenal is a bit of a no-brainer. I don't think we'll be able to keep players of this level until we're competing top half of the table in the premiership.
Saint_Rick Posted 28 September, 2011 Posted 28 September, 2011 It depresses me more seeing Chamberlain performing for Arsenal than it ever did watching Theo or Bale... this
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 28 September, 2011 Posted 28 September, 2011 Do you make that comment when he plays a short ball and it leads to a chance for us? I'm struggling to remember when that last happened. What I do know is that it is the fourth game on the bounce that he has played that type of ball out of the box that has led to the opposition placing unecessary pressure on us. Don't get me wrong, he is a great keeper, just sometimes there is nothing wrong with a good old fashioned hoof towards Lambert.

Playing mid-week at Cardiff or in the Champions league with Arsenal is a bit of a no-brainer. I don't think we'll be able to keep players of this level until we're competing top half of the table in the premiership. Those are factors other than finance though
Colinjb Posted 28 September, 2011 Posted 28 September, 2011 I suppose it's the fact that for once (financially) we could of actually held onto one of our wonderkids. For me, it's more the thought of his loathesome father....
Monk Posted 28 September, 2011 Posted 28 September, 2011 Would like to see De Ridder get a decent run out.
SNSUN Posted 28 September, 2011 Posted 28 September, 2011 Alexander Oxlade-Chamberlain will be a top footballer. I guess we can only hope for promotion this season, Arsenal never get any better and get relegated, we re-sign him, and tell Walcott to do one. None of which will happen, so it's a moo point.

ALWAYS_SFC Posted 28 September, 2011 Posted 28 September, 2011 Corner Saints.... Come on make it count....
