A win at Cardiff and....

Maybe I'm weird but I expected us to be top.

We have money, we have a great manager, we have a Premiership infrastructure, we signed Jack Cork, we have the best player in the league (Adam) and we are riding the wave of confidence that comes from promotion.

This could all backfire of course, but we are where we deserve to be.

Long may it continue.

(Especially as I'm clutching my 14/1 each way) :)

Anyway, whatever happens in October we'll have a huge number of games left and every chance of catching up, holding teams off, or indeed messing it up.

Indeed, but we can make a HUGE statement of intent over the next couple of weeks.

If we come through it on top, some will raise their game before they face us. Others will have lost before they exit the tunnel.

That'll be you and the Chairman then - he expects us to be Champions this season. At least two of you aren't surprised.....!

Point at Cardiff would be fine, and twenty points from nine games would be phenomenal (and well within the 2 points per game typical requirement for top two).

What a team!

I would have thought the horse's head on your pillow was enough to indicate what the Chairman and I have in common... ;)

I've had my "visit" and am now fully supportive of everything this current regime does....

You never know, after tonights shenanigans in Munich, you could be closer to realising your ultimate dream - Carlos Tevez in the red and white. Get him in on loan. Finally the megastar to deliver untold success, as you always said........

Wonder what'd be best signing-wise. If we were top, would NA/NC think we don't need people in January, or use the position to attract better players? Are we more likely to sign people if we're 2nd-8th?

I think you only have to look at Forest's phenomenal implosion from top of the log or think back to Sunderland under Roy Keane to realise that spending in the January window if you're looking good for an auto spot is a very sensible idea, injuries and form eventually can take their toll.

Really??? Oh no thats a shame i thought i'd wound time forward and we had.

Didnt you predict an 18th place finish??

You do him a disservice, Dalek is much more the optimist than that, I think you'll find he has confidently got us down to come in a very creditable 17th.
