Interestingly we haven't played any of the Top 10 sides yet. More severe tests to come, play Cardiff 8th tonight and Middlesboro, West Ham and Derby in October should give us better idea of the level we are actually at.

True, but it's still a valid point that we haven't played any of the sides that are really challenging for promotion yet, and after 8 games this is a bit of a statistical anomaly, and can't just be accounted for by the fact that if we beat teams they have fewer points than they would otherwise have had. To my mind the only really decent team we have played up till now have been Leicester - where were unlucky not to come away with something. It'll be really interesting to see how we do at Cardiff.
