It has been revealed that Arsenal could have signed Shaw back in 2012 for as little as £2 million, but Arsene Wenger believed the price was too much. david in sweden Posted 26 March, 2016 Share Posted 26 March, 2016 Arsenal could have signed Shaw? .....but Wenger thought that a £2 million fee was too much ? ..that goes along with Rupert Lowe's decision NOT to sign the young Didier Droghba....because he thought that the player " had an attitude "
Redslo Posted 26 March, 2016 Share Posted 26 March, 2016 Had Wenger signed Luke Shaw for 2 million things would have been very different. We might have been relegated having to play Fox all the time while Shaw would not have gotten the necessary first team playing time to develop. Instead, he probably would have turned into another one of those injury prone Arsenal players.
