We had to dig in, our tactics at time were questionable, yet we still had chances to win it and gained a worthy away point.

And yes, still top of the league. Worse things happen at sea!!!

1-1. decent resultanother tough away game out of the way with a very tough game next...would be happy to come out of the next game unbeaten....sounds like we never really played that well..yet we drew a game and top of the league

Not a bad result considering those around us drew too, though a few more teams have pulled themselves up close on points

A point ground out, not a bad result when you consider we only started on about 70 minutes. Could have won it too, but for misses by AL and DC. Can't win 'em all, especially away from home, Cardiff will be a tougher test in mid-week.

Didn't get going soon enough, so quite fortunate

Looks like the starting side wasn't quite right but as it was our usual starting XI who could know that in advance.

Needed a bit more calm in midfield, which is what was said in a pre-match analysis that someone put up yesterday.

Happy with a draw away from home against a side that will be mid table at worse, glad Morgan scored hopefully he can keep up his form and improve.

Still top 2 and looking good if we keep this form up.

1-1 was my prediction, but also for Middlesbrough to win - so this is a result!

All hail to Spiderman!

(pity Derby and Hammers won though, still they were both at home.)

A point away, still top of the league despite not playing to our best, pretty happy with that.

Pompey nicking all three is annoying though.

But Skates actually did us a good turn in pegging Blackpool back.

A good point all told. Keeps us top, and boy did it sound like we had to battle hard. Burnley are a decent team - their league position isn't true to where they'll be at the end of the season - and a forward line of Austin and Rodriguez would be one I would love for Saints.Well done Morgan. Still top of the league then - good news. Cardiff away will be very tough though. Let's hope Adam finds his goalscoring touch by then.

Decent point but wanted to win as I can see us struggling at cardiff. I think a 4-5-1 formation would work better away from home as we seem keen on sticking with 4-4-2 in every match (not complaining as it's worked so far but maybe teams are figuring us out).

Still, top of the league and and can't ask to be higher than that 8 games in, a fair few teams are now lurking behind us though.

Aye, I guess, still would have preferred the draw there.

Still, I guess it might hurt them more in the long run if it keeps Cotteril in a job.

On to the next game, hopefully we'll play a bit better.

Didnt play well, away from home at a place like Burnley and still picking up a point = good side.

Still need two moor on the bus.

Yeah I thought that too. Bigger picture and all that..........

Good result at a difficult Northern away game keeps the start and records going (scored in every match this year, record start)

We are 3 ahead of our 2 points a game target

(We only made our 2 points a game target after a great run on our last game of the season against Wallsall last year)

It's a poor result looking at where Burnley were in the table at 3pm. They'd lost their previous two games, we were top of the league.

This is the equivalent of Chelsea drawing at Wolves.

You're going by league positions VERY early on in the season.

It is also, at this stage, the equivalent of United drawing at Arsenal. Not such a bad result...

Burnley's position is false though, some sides take a bit of time to get going. Didn't doubt that we were in for a real battle myself if only for their strike power and wingers.

I'll wait for the real reports but don't doubt that many of them will say that our full backs were exposed because we didn't take the game to them.

NA subbed Guly and then Hammond, that says it all for me really, that the construction just wasn't firing on all cylinders and letting Burnley do whatever they needed to put us under pressure where we are at our weakest.
