Appy Posted 23 September, 2011 Posted 23 September, 2011 From our player of the season in 2008, to a Premier League move to Stoke and now Andrew Davies joins Bradford City on loan. If it wasn't for his injuries he could of been a very useful defender, shame for him. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15041749.stm
saints-cris Posted 23 September, 2011 Posted 23 September, 2011 Crikey. Wasn't he at Palace not that long ago ? Consensus I got from Palace fans was that he was fairly solid still. Good signing for Bradford even if he has fallen away a bit.
Chin Strain Posted 23 September, 2011 Posted 23 September, 2011 4 games in 3 years for Stoke? Didn't they pay us £1m for him? Blimey, that's a cracking bit of business Tone......

Only getting Pulis in return made the deal dubious.

Huffton Posted 23 September, 2011 Posted 23 September, 2011 Thought he was a good player, just a bit too brave for his own good. Kept putting his head between the ball and the strikers boot.
Micky Posted 23 September, 2011 Posted 23 September, 2011 Did well for us, hope he can do a bit of a 'David Wetherall' at Bradford City. Memories - Valley Parade - first ground I took my first son to.
Chin Strain Posted 23 September, 2011 Posted 23 September, 2011 2 words- Anthony Pulis. Possibly the best and most audacious deal Tony Pulis will ever pull off. He probably cost us £20k a year for 3 years.
LostBoys Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 He played well for us for one season and moved on. It has not worked out well for him due to injuries but his record with us stands. I have wasted enough nervous energy on Pulis junior on this forum which is more than he ever did for SFC but again its not Pulis' fault he is crap or Andrew Davis's fault it is the responsibility of those that bought Pulis here.
