The Cat Posted 10 November, 2011 Share Posted 10 November, 2011 If it's true that we've had 2500 applications already then we'll easily sell out. Still 9 days to get the form in, plus that's only season ticket holder applications. There's loads of people who don't have a season ticket who will want to go. Turkish Posted 10 November, 2011 Share Posted 10 November, 2011 if we don't sell out it will be very embarrassing and give the skates a lot of bragging rights when it comes to support, 32k home crowds means nothing if we can't take 10% of that down the road for an away game. They will fill their end at our place 100% As a wise man once told me, "you're nothing unless you take it away"

It was mentioned on the previous page of this thread. Could be nonsense which is why I prefaced my post with "if it's true"!! As for selling them to non-season ticket holders well I just presumed we would. Can't see any reason not to put them on sale to people on the database. shirleysfc Posted 14 November, 2011 Share Posted 14 November, 2011 I've had an email from the club to say once tickets have been awarded in the ballot they are non-transferable. If you find out you can't make the match your ticket will become VOID and you will get NO refund!! You can't just give it to someone else! This will also mean you can't use someone else season ticket to apply or gift a ticket to someone!! I've suggested they may want to let the fans know!!! I don't really get why the communication from the club is so poor at present, when everything else seems so slick. At least one of our party entered the ballot and will have to ask for time off work if successful. Perhaps they shouldn't have assumed but the no refunds could've been made clearer. The club are also trying it on when you try to get a refund on a normal matchday ticket. Despite being told by a person at the ticket office that they would definately get their money back, friends of mine received a letter from the club saying a "New policy",had been put in place(nothing on the official site), and no refunds are now given 24hours before a game. Interesting that the club still want to take your money, eventhough you havent watched a game. Saints customer service is non existant.

But these are all issues that the club should be looking for feedback from it's customers on. instead we get cosy dinners with cortese and his select fans deemed worthy or eating in his presence, and nothing ever seems to come of it, you don't even find out what is discussed now. i would have lots of questions about the way the club is run, the useless ticket office procedures (especially away games) and who lost the key to the store cupboard holding the Liebherr flag that has gone missing. ericb Posted 15 November, 2011 Share Posted 15 November, 2011 I'd be amazed if they check whether you're actually the person on the ticket or not, all the other skate away trips i've done have actually been pretty lax once it starts since the police want to minimize trouble. The last thing they're going to want is a lot of ****ed of people who are already fired up for the day. Much easier for them to get you onto a coach/bus and to the game in my opinion
rshephard3 Posted 15 November, 2011 Share Posted 15 November, 2011 I actually found my best hope of going being through an application of a friend of a friend which has now been submitted. I guess noone knows what the protocol is for that situation. Tickets will be so scarce it wasn't worth my while applying when someone I knew was applying but not planning on going as they don't have to work every other saturday like myself so have been able to bolster their season ticket with numerous away games. Would seem a shame for there to be any barriers to me managing to go using their ticket through no lack of desire on my part.
