Can't have made any difference, Hampshire have paid their staging fee for the Sri Lanka test match, albeit a bit later than planned. Glamorgan still owe loads of money.

In all fairness, they do need to spread it around, so I don't really have a problem with it all. Not sure why they're sticking with Cardiff after poor sales recently. Give Edgbaston, Headingly and Old Trafford more tests. To be honest this argument is rubbish! The Rosebowl is approx 84 miles from Lords and The Oval. Trent Bridge is 53 miles from Edgbaston, 78 from Headingley and 85 from Old Trafford; Headingley is 53 miles from Old Trafford and 90 from The Riverside (or whatever it's called now).
