dannysfc Posted 23 September, 2011 Posted 23 September, 2011 I'd hope for Aldershot at home just to (hopefully) progress. Selfishly I'd like it to be away at one of the following just so I could go: - Man Utd Man City Stoke Everton Liverpool Blackburn Bolton Burnley Yeh I also wouldn't mind playing Aldershot as well but if we get drawn a biggy then it'l more than likely be Arsenal/Man U home or away but we'l see!
Appy Posted 23 September, 2011 Posted 23 September, 2011 Yeh I also wouldn't mind playing Aldershot as well but if we get drawn a biggy then it'l more than likely be Arsenal/Man U home or away but we'l see! Why is it more than likely?
Crab Lungs Posted 23 September, 2011 Posted 23 September, 2011 Any Premier League team at home, simply because I want to "feel" and remember what it was like to be playing a PL team again. Oh, and it'll be a decent yardstick if we both field competitive first elevens...
Dr Who? Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 Is 1 in 15 a good chance? Better chance that it will be a north west club, 7 in 15 to be exact. Personally would like to get Newcastle, Arsenal or Aldershot at home. Please not Manure or Citeh. North west is what I was thinking, even if my finger did not type this!! We will somehow manage not to draw any of them, but I would prefer it to be away and on the Wednesday as I will be able to go!!
saintmatt Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 Whens the draw and what channel? Sky Sports 2 (Soccer AM) - not sure of time though, trying to find that out myself atm!
Matthew Le God Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 Whens the draw and what channel? Sky Sports 2 (Soccer AM) It is on Soccer Saturday on SSN. Will be on soon after the programme starts at 12.
Saints67 Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 btw, your location - Wigan? You are almost correct. I'm in Standish the posh end of Wigan
Saintandy666 Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 Is it about to happen? Don't have sky...

Saint_Jonny Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 Meh doesn't sound like 5 Live are covering it live. GAY.
Window Cleaner Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 Anyone at home for me. fans' pockets need a rest, away game with plenty of thune coming our way from rich EPL fans. Fancy Arse reserves at the Emirates myself.
Bad Wolf Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 Stoke away for me please! May I ask why?
stevegrant Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 Wolves v Man City Cardiff v Burnley Blackburn v Newcastle Arsenal v Bolton Stoke v Liverpool Aldershot v Man United Crystal Palace v Southampton Everton v Chelsea
Saintandy666 Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 Aldershot v Man U Hah! Aldershot will love that, at least we don't have to play them again.
Toadhall Saint Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 How many times have I been to that ground!!
Saintandy666 Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 Well, it's winnable. But a little bit of a boring draw.
Window Cleaner Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 CP v Saints not bad, not bad at all.
stevegrant Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 Mustn't grumble, really, it's basically a home game for me
Saint_Jonny Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 Good draw that, play our first team Nige and we could be in the last 8!!
Soton7 Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 Got 2 big games either side of the Palace game, Reading away Saturday, Palace on Tues/ Weds then Boro on the Saturday.
Spudders Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 How many times have I been to that ground!! Is it 7?
the wedge Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 Basically a home game for me too. Disappointed though. Damn.
Crazy Diamond Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 Wonder what sort of team we'll put out against them.
Toadhall Saint Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 Is it 7? Could be - keep guessing - I'll let you know when you get it right!
Thedelldays Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 Wonder what sort of team we'll put out against them. good point...guess it depends who we have the following game..im sure we will make a few changes thoughcould beat this lot, get the cardiff/burley at home in the quaters...hey presto, almost at wembleyof course, will never happen
richardc Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 How many times have I been to that ground!! never
Dr Who? Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 Thats ok. I have been to this ground 8 times!!
Dr Who? Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 Might go to Blackburn v Newcastle if it is on Wednesday!
Saint Fan CaM Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 Mmm, not the most inspiring of draws, but there's every chance of getting through to face Prem oppo in the quarters. And if we go out now, so what - it'll keep the focus on the league campaign.
Neil Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 Excellent draw, good chance to get to the QF and we should get decent support up there.
jawillwill Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 Will we be singing anti-Brighton songs all night?
mancsaint Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 Number 50 bus from Streatham to Thornton Heath for me. Will use my Freedom Card. Just match ticket to buy. Just hope the supposedly Saints supporting yoof lager louts that invaded Tesco's last time to steal beers etc don't repeat that trick. No colours but singing Saints songs. Mancsaint
sammysaint Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 Good draw. Easily winnable. Agreed. Win this then get a big team in the QF in which we lose then concentrate on the league and staying in the top 6.
saintds Posted 24 September, 2011 Posted 24 September, 2011 Wolves v Man City Cardiff v Burnley Blackburn v Newcastle Arsenal v Bolton Stoke v Liverpool Aldershot v Man United Crystal Palace v Southampton Everton v Chelsea Other than Man Utd, that's all the Prem teams drawn against each other. I can't think of a single reason why this is interesting, so it probably isn't.
