farawaysaint Posted 21 September, 2011 Share Posted 21 September, 2011 I remember I was really annoyed at losing him as he was a sh*t hot prospect, even getting called up to the full DRC squad but couldn't really blame him for the move at the time. Seems his career has totally derailed though, and hasn't made any significant improvement since leaving us. At 23, he's officially beyond "talented youngster" now this might be his final shot at making it so I wish him all the best at Reading. http://www.getbracknell.co.uk/sport/football/readingfc/s/2100068_former_saints_striker_baseya_joins_reading_fc

Cestrian Saint Posted 21 September, 2011 Share Posted 21 September, 2011 Personally I'm more disappointed that we let Mills go. Got a funny feeling that he'll do well at Reading.
Crazy Diamond Posted 21 September, 2011 Share Posted 21 September, 2011 Met him once at Staplewood, seemed a nice guy. Good luck to him.
LostBoys Posted 21 September, 2011 Share Posted 21 September, 2011 I thought he was homesick for France - there is obviously a part of Reading that is forever - France
St Chalet Posted 22 September, 2011 Share Posted 22 September, 2011 I thought he was homesick for France - there is obviously a part of Reading that is forever - France Perhaps he thinks Le Fondre will be his French strike partner?
Colinjb Posted 22 September, 2011 Share Posted 22 September, 2011 They must have needed another burly bricksh*t house french forward to keep Mathieu Manset company.
Saint2Hotty Posted 23 September, 2011 Share Posted 23 September, 2011 I know he is only 23 so still has a long career ahead of him. However, as a striker he hasn't actually ever scored!
