Crab Lungs Posted 29 September, 2011 Share Posted 29 September, 2011 You also missed Saints Forever v Pompey Online at Moneyfields, when he had a squad number allocated and shirt printed with his name on it and still didn't turn up. Wasn't he living in Spain for WN09, and claiming to be coming until the day before ? This is also true about Spain but for the Moneyfields game I was injured, sadly. Smirking_Saint Posted 29 September, 2011 Share Posted 29 September, 2011 I will limp, moan and kick some people. Probaby also get cramp. Last time i wore the IFC kit, Mr Cruciate took a turn for the worst. Also, if we have The9 up front we better lump it. Not sure even he remembers the last goal he got with his feet..... That will probably be enough to hide your clear lack of ability

Oh yes he does, it was pre-season from 35 yards against Burridge Village. All the better that I was playing for an abominable Sholing Vets Reserves team at the time as they were short and I'd been training with Burridge Village all summer. We lost 7-1, but it was the "1" that mattered Unfortunately I also faffed my ankle that day and have only played two 5-a-sides since. Baj Posted 30 September, 2011 Share Posted 30 September, 2011 I don't think I've ever actually played for the IFC team before. Refereed (ruined?) a couple of your games and played for the Vets, but this will be my first time pulling on the shirt for the nippers...

saintscottofthenortham Posted 1 October, 2011 Share Posted 1 October, 2011 It was 5-3. And I think it is only right you claim assists for their goals.
saintscottofthenortham Posted 1 October, 2011 Share Posted 1 October, 2011 Honourable mention for Smirking for goal of the game, and I vote for an infraction on Baj for missing the target from 4 yards out when 1 on 1 with the keeper.

To be fair I did handball the ball in front of me to create the chance... reckon karma took its course, yeah, not just me being a bit ****.... The9 Posted 1 October, 2011 Share Posted 1 October, 2011 Bloody hell, I score a 30 yard volley back past the keeper direct from his goal kick, and it's not even goal of the game? We were pretty decent, I have to say. Passed it nicely, Adam in particular was excellent at centre back and Kev in an unfamiliar midfield role set up one of my goals with an awesome diagonal pass. Couple of nice finishes from Smirking too.

Smirking_Saint Posted 2 October, 2011 Share Posted 2 October, 2011 Enjoyed it today, good game, good weather and good people. Good to put a few names to faces aswell. Sorry about the GOTG The9, i couldn't be outdone could I, and is it worth pointing out it was only with 1 good leg ?? Lol We looked better than them all over the place to be fair, and I thought our CB's played very well. The9, it was nice playing upfront with a forward who knows where he is supposed to be and who can use my movement for a change !!. SaintScott, can't believe you let that last goal in. Andy_Porter Posted 2 October, 2011 Share Posted 2 October, 2011 Was enjoyable, really hard work in that heat was lucky they didn't have any try hards in their team. Couple of really good goals.

Beaten by a 5 year old. Shame on me, i know. The lad scored fair and square so damn right it counts. Everyone realised he wasn't very well right...? Everyone realised he wasn't very well right...? I am assuming he had some sort of serious childhood illness if that were the case, TBF I thought he was only about 3-4, and so didn't really realise. The9 Posted 2 October, 2011 Share Posted 2 October, 2011 As linesman I have to hold my hands up and say I maybe should have flagged for the ball being out of play just before their third... But I was... er... unsighted...
