* I know it's an unfair comparison, but on a direct comparison of form in competitive matches over the past 11 months, ours is as good as Man Utd. Take a period of time less than eleven months and our form is better - except if you compare only form this season. :)

* In our last 15 matches, we have won 14 and lost one.

* Since the beginning of April we have played 19 games, won 17 and lost just two.

* Since losing to Walsall at the beginning of March, we have won 21 of the 24 subsequent games, drawing one and losing two.

* Since losing to Man Utd at the end of February, we have played 30 games of which we have won 25, drawn two and lost just three.

* Since last Christmas we have played 38 games, winning 30, drawing 3 and losing 5.

* Since losing to Huddersfield on the 16 October 2010, we have played 47 games, winning 36, drawing 4 and losing 7.

* Since one year ago, we have played 52 games, winning 39, drawing 5 and losing 8.

* At home we have 14 (not 13!) straight home wins in all competitions (excluding pre-season) - we have 13 straight home LEAGUE wins.

* Since losing to Brentford at home on 11th December, we have had 16 straight home LEAGUE games without defeat. Over the same period we have lost only one home game in 19 home matches - the defeat against Man Utd in the cup. During this period of time we drew one home match (the game against Notts County) and won 17.

* Over the past year (actually since the beginning of October as we didn't have any home games for the last couple of weeks in October lst year) we have played 28 home games in all tournaments (excluding pre-season friendlies). Our record in those games reads as follows:

P.....W.....D.....L.....F.....A

28...24.....2.....2....66....16

What's more impressive than any stats is that there is still ample room for improvement! We still go to sleep at times and our closing down of opposition players is sometimes lazy (resulting in two goals for Forest, for example).

So the great news is we're good, but not as good we could be. :)

And that's not negative before people complain, that's called always striving for excellence!

A nice, but somewhat unimportant stat - Southampton have received the least yellow cards in the division with just five. The most in the league is 19 - picked up by our buddies down the road.

Talking about the Cheats, here's their record over the last 16 competitive matches: W 1 D 7 L 8 :D

I wonder if the few are looking forward to December?
