dannysfc Posted 19 September, 2011 Share Posted 19 September, 2011 I see Martin Cranie is playing for Coventry tonight at Ipswich and am just wanting to see what people thought of him and that whether he should have had another chance at Saints or not under the manager he was playing under!?! Thoughts!?! Thanks! COYR !!!

Shroppie Posted 19 September, 2011 Share Posted 19 September, 2011 No, not after the OG! Stunning header. Could be the back-up striker we need.
Lighthouse Posted 19 September, 2011 Share Posted 19 September, 2011 Don't think I could stomache being a Coventry fan. It must be the most boring past time in Britain.
Panda Posted 19 September, 2011 Share Posted 19 September, 2011 Saints are a team looking forwards Ben, not back, and we only need players who fit with our future, not those who are part of our past. Look forwards too and leave the 'has beens' behind. Memories are important but you can't go back. Why should we consider giving Martin Cranie 'another chance' unless he really could help take us to that longed for 'next level'? We owe him nothing. Let's keep signing new faces, the likes of Chaplow, and Cork! Oh...

whizzpop Posted 20 September, 2011 Share Posted 20 September, 2011 He had his chance with us, turned down a contract with us after the 2007 playoffs and went to Pompey...failed there too.
