But also means:

'The state or fact of being synchronous or simultaneous; synchronism.'

This is an oversimplification of Jungs theory and ignores the idea of apparent causality where there isn't any.

Either way it was a cracking goal.

they've tried that move a number of times in recent games - it was the third time on Saturday that it resulted in the goal - a great move straight from the training ground

It's so simple it's genius. Runner from midfield passes along the wing, continues his run to pull the fullback behind the rest of the defence creating space behind the CBs for another player to run into whilst staying onside.

Just watched Saintsplayer myself. We don't score many bad goals these days do we? Highlights never effectively show the work of clearly instrumental "team" players like Jack Cork, which is a shame. But Lallana is just looking unbelievable. Can't imagine there are many better players in the second tier this season.

The big worry for me in the coming months, especially during the winter, is that more and more teams and individuals will take the Stephen Carr route, and start dishing out a few "reducers" on our Adam. If I was a opposing manager, that's what I'd be saying - kick him.

I am, I've just stayed up late to watch it.:-) Much better than earlier when I was doing an Italian tax return and a translation where I didn't even understand the English!

Connolly didn't seem offside, but it did need the benefit of the cameras to see it.

Only for the myopic linesman - it was as clear as day in real time from where I was sat.
