Have you an excuse or are you out of your depth?" doesn't go down well and that is the question being asked here in a polite way Exactly- pretty obvious that the interviewer wanted to know why they hadn't produced or created more - just being polite and that backfiring. If a more direct question gets asked, the interview is pulled up for being presumptuous. I don't have much sympathy for the media but in this case they're damned if they do, damned if they don't.

Managers are judged to a certain extent on what they say to the media just as much as what they do or team does on the field. SC is clearly not making it any easier for himself with the things he has said in recent times. He sounds very amateurish in this interview. I'll give him 2 months max if the performances don't improve. I don't think the football side of things is entirely his wrong doing. Anyway **** 'em. Rot in hell you filthy ****s
